Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Neighbor Boy

"Sigh!!!"

Dante let out a long, weary sigh as he sluggishly pressed the elevator button.

The alcohol in his system was rising, making the corners of his eyes sting. In truth, he hadn't drunk that much and was still very sober; he was just slightly annoyed.

Today, he had scouted all afternoon before finally spotting a 'bottom boy' who looked clean, appearing quite pretty and fair at first glance. He flirted with the kid for the whole afternoon, but halfway through the taxi ride to the hotel, just as they were passionately making out, the taxi driver suddenly stopped the car, turned around, and glared at the boy.

Before Dante could understand what was going on, he saw the kid's face turn pale as he stammered:

"D… Dad…"

Oh, motherf*cker!

And so, he took a punch to the gut and was kicked out of the car, forced to drag himself to hail another cab home. It was only when the father and son started arguing that he realized the kid was only sixteen years old. Damn it, looking for men at such a young age—he almost got Dante thrown in jail.

Clutching his aching stomach, Dante returned home. The moment the elevator doors opened, he saw a heap lying right in front of his door. Dante was startled quite a bit.

Approaching carefully, he discovered that lying in front of his door was a young man who looked quite familiar.

"Oh, isn't this the acne-faced kid from next door? Hey kid, wake up. Why are you throwing a tantrum in front of my door like this?"

The young man groggily lifted his head to look at him, then slumped back down; he appeared to be completely wasted.

Dante shook him repeatedly, but Enda didn't budge. Resigned to his fate, Dante slipped his hands under Enda's armpits and dragged him heavily to the boy's own door.

He knew this kid. When Dante first bought his apartment here, the boy was already living here. According to the neighbors downstairs, his parents died a long time ago, and he lived with his grandmother. The grandmother had passed away five or six years ago too. So, currently, this kid was an orphan.

This entire floor had four apartments. Two were occupied by him and Enda, while the other two had been bought by owners who left them empty, only coming periodically to clean but never staying.

Rummaging through one pocket after another without finding any keys, Dante patted the boy's cheek in annoyance and snapped:

"You little brat, where are your house keys?"

Being slapped like that sobered Enda up slightly. He fumbled around his body, and after a moment, he looked blankly and said:

"Lost… *hic*… lost them…"

Motherf*cker!

Without keys, he couldn't just leave this kid lying in the hallway, could he? Dante struggled to drag Enda back to his own apartment, opened the door, and hauled him inside.

The alcohol was gradually taking effect, and he was feeling a bit woozy himself. Feeling that letting Enda lie on the floor wasn't good, Dante rarely squeezed out a bit of empathy and hoisted the boy up, intending to help him onto the sofa.

Unexpectedly, just as he hoisted him up, the guy let out a 'hurgh' sound and spewed a sour liquid all over Dante.

"Oh, you motherf*cker, you puked all over me."

Dante was so angry he wanted to slap Enda twice, but seeing him retch a couple more times, he hurriedly grabbed the boy by the scruff of his neck and threw him into the bathroom.

Enda hugged the toilet bowl and vomited violently, panting heavily when he was done. By this point, he had sobered up a little.

"Thank… thank you…"

"Thank my ass… You puked all over me."

The filth Enda vomited had gotten all over both their clothes. Dante frowned in disgust, finally resigning himself to stripping off all the clothes on his body. Seeing that Enda's clothes were also dirty, he reached out, intending to strip them off too.

Enda panicked and grabbed hold of them tightly, asking in confusion:

"What… what do you want to do?"

Dante raised an eyebrow. Don't tell him this toad was one of his kind too?

"Take them off and rinse with water, you smell sour enough to kill someone."

Realizing he had misunderstood, Enda's face turned bright red, making the acne on his face look even more grotesque. Dante couldn't bear to look directly at him.

He ignored the boy, quickly stripped himself clean, and turned on the warm water for a cursory shower. Enda hung his head, not daring to look at him, hesitating for a long time before managing to take off his shirt.

Dante finished showering, wiped himself down, and wrapped a towel around his waist to leave. Before stepping out, he scoffed and said to the kid:

"Don't dawdle, or if you catch a cold, I won't be responsible. In that small cabinet, there's a new towel and a spare toothbrush; take them and use them."

With that, he walked out, leaving some privacy for Enda. The boy let out a sigh of relief, then laughed self-deprecatingly. Who would want to look at an ugly person like him? He was being too confident.

*Thud!*

"Ouch."

Dante was drying his hair when he heard a loud thud followed by Enda's cry of pain from the bathroom. He threw the hairdryer aside and rushed in.

"What happened? Don't go dying in my house. What bad luck…"

The rest of his sentence got stuck in his throat. What struck Dante's eyes was a patch of fair white skin, a slender figure, a slim waist, and a perky pair of buttocks sticking up, with a pale pink rose hiding and revealing itself.

He gulped audibly. He hadn't expected that while this kid's face was painfully ugly, his body would be so incredibly succulent.

Enda had slipped and smashed his knee on the floor, grimacing in pain. He hadn't realized Dante had entered, nor did he realize how captivating he looked right now.

"*Sob*… it hurts…"

Enda's whimpers of pain pulled Dante back to reality. He hurriedly grabbed the towel to drape over the boy and helped him up. Enda was slightly startled but quickly murmured his thanks.

Dante didn't say anything; he just supported Enda out of the bathroom and helped him sit on the bed.

"Why did you suddenly fall?"

"I… I… my contact lenses tore and I couldn't open my eyes. I wanted to reach for the towel but slipped."

"Look up, I'll take them out for you. Did you buy cheap lenses or something? How did they tear?"

"I rarely go out, so I bought daily disposables on Shopee…"

"Next time go to an optometrist shop to buy them. You never know the quality when buying online; you'll go blind one day."

Dante grumbled, using his hand to hold the boy's eyelids open and pluck the contact lenses out. The moment the lenses were removed, Enda's vision became blurry; he blinked a few times, feeling a slight sting.

"It stings."

"See that? Open your eyes wide so I can check if they're scratched."

Enda obediently complied, opening his eyes wide to look up. The moment Dante looked into his eyes, he was momentarily stunned. He discovered the boy had extremely beautiful eyes, just like his body. The irises were a tea-brown color, glistening with water. If they hadn't lost focus and looked so dazed, they would surely be very seductive.

"How is it? Are they injured?"

"Ah… um… a bit red. It's probably fine. Wait a second, I'll get some eye drops for you. Don't rub your eyes."

Dante quickly ran to the nightstand and opened the drawer to get the eye drops. As he pulled his hand back, he accidentally brushed against something. He looked down and immediately froze.

Motherf*cker, his 'little brother' was saluting.

He had actually developed desire for that acne-faced kid.

"Sir, did you find it?"

"Uh… here… put them in yourself, I have something to do."

After saying that, he hastily grabbed his towel tight and ran into the adjacent room. Closing the door behind him, he turned around and banged his head against the door panel, threw the towel violently onto the floor, lightly slapped his 'little brother' once, and cursed under his breath.

Motherf*cker, are you so hungry that you want to eat anything?

But… but aside from the face, that kid looked truly delicious.

Enda didn't know about the storm in Dante's heart. He applied the eye drops and felt the stinging subside a little. Only now did he have time to assess the room, though he could only see a blurry outline.

Enda thought back dazedly but couldn't remember where he had put his keys. After tossing and turning all evening, and with the alcohol still in his system, he pulled the towel down to dry his hair. After wiping for a while, drowsiness took over, and his eyelids stuck together, refusing to open.

His mind was still vaguely troubled by the fact that this might be someone else's bedroom, but his brain had turned into mush. Enda couldn't think anymore and, out of habit, lay face down on the bed and closed his eyes to sleep.

He forgot he was in someone else's house. He forgot he wasn't wearing any clothes.

So, when Dante calmed himself down and returned to the room, he was immediately hit by the sight of a sleeping beauty on his bed, almost causing him to have a nosebleed.
