Chapter 122 - Chapter 122: Hiiragi Tenri Dies

Hiiragi Tenri landed, his expression unchanged.

Ferid and Crowley pursued him relentlessly.

Ferid had already noticed Luke approaching, and a bad premonition welled up in his heart.

Hiiragi Tenri had undergone some unknown human experimentation; there was the aura of a Seraph on his chains.

But Ferid could state with certainty that Hiiragi Tenri was not a Seraph host.

"Oh, busy, are we?"

Luke arrived.

Crowley and Ferid exchanged a glance.

Crowley retreated to Luke's side and said with a smile,

"Luke, why are you here?"

"Has any Vampire ever told you that your skill at changing the subject is really terrible?"

Crowley scratched his head and said to Ferid,

"I told you I couldn't stop Luke."

Ferid's lip twitched slightly; he was speechless.

But Luke's next move left Ferid and Crowley a bit confused.

Luke simply found a nearby flowerbed to sit on and made a "please" gesture.

"I'm in the spectator's seat. You guys continue; just treat me as handsome air."

Ferid said nothing because Hiiragi Tenri had already initiated an attack.

While keeping an eye on Luke, Crowley also paid attention to Ferid's side, ready to strike at any moment.

But he was too close to Luke; Luke moved swiftly and twisted off Crowley's arm.

"You're already missing an arm; how dangerous! I'll keep this one safe for you."

By the time Crowley realized what happened, his arm had already been planted in the flowerbed by Luke, attempting to blend in with the flowers.

Feeling helpless, Crowley walked over to sit beside Luke and said with a smile,

"Give it back to me; I won't go over there anymore."

Luke showed a puzzled expression.

"Why not? Look at Mother Ferid—he swings three times, two are dodged, and the one that hits isn't fatal. Aren't you going to help him?"

Crowley sat down and tried to pull his arm out of the flowerbed, but realized he no longer had hands to do it with.

"Can you help me?"

Luke smiled, pulled out Crowley's left hand, and attached it to his right arm.

Crowley was silent for a moment, then used his mouth to reattach it to the correct position and didn't get up again.

"Ferid can handle it himself; you don't need to go up. One of my arms is still inside that old man's body. I couldn't find it even after cutting him in half just now. It's really strange."

Crowley's tone was calm and natural; despite being well aware of their opposing sides, he spoke as if having a casual conversation with a friend.

"Is that so? Then I'll have that guy explode in a bit."

"Then won't my hand be lost?"

Luke patted Crowley's shoulder.

"Don't worry, it has nothing to do with your hand."

...While they were chatting here, the battle between Hiiragi Tenri and Ferid was shifting rapidly.

During the fight, Ferid discovered that Hiiragi Tenri's body was controlled by an autonomous consciousness; in other words, Hiiragi Tenri was predicting his attacks to avoid damage.

When Hiiragi Tenri couldn't keep up with Ferid's speed, he would still be wounded by Ferid.

Given the current situation, Hiiragi Tenri posed no threat to Ferid at all; he was just disgusting and hard to kill.

With another inhuman guy lurking nearby, the pressure was truly immense!

Crowley was also held back, and Ferid had just figured out Hiiragi Tenri's "mechanics."

Next, it was Ferid's turn to strike!

After a few more rounds.

Holding a Blood-drinking longsword, Ferid moved with elegant steps, dodging Hiiragi Tenri's long-range chains.

Then his figure blurred, and in the blink of an eye, he appeared behind Hiiragi Tenri.

But as the head of the Hiiragi Family, Hiiragi Tenri's personal abilities were also extremely strong, and he possessed an incredibly high willpower.

The clothes on Hiiragi Tenri's back burst open, and several segments of chain shot out, lunging to bind Ferid.

The corners of Ferid's mouth curled up.

The chains pierced through Ferid's chest, and Hiiragi Tenri breathed a secret sigh of relief.

But things rarely go as expected; Ferid's body was not affected in the slightest, and his sword plunged into Hiiragi Tenri's skull.

Hiiragi Tenri finally showed an expression—utter disbelief!

Ferid leaned close to Hiiragi Tenri's ear, smiling radiantly.

"Did you think you were the only special one?"

Hiiragi Tenri's head had been pierced, but he didn't die immediately; his life force was simply fading away.

Hiiragi Tenri smiled, his whole body relaxing as if he had found liberation.

"The will of the old god will not vanish. The Vampires are destined for their end; you can only turn to ash in despair!"

Luke sat by the flowerbed, propping up his face.

"Why is he like an NPC? Doesn't say a word during the fight, then starts his despair monologue when he's about to die."

Crowley didn't find it strange at all.

"People like him have been suppressed for too long; it's quite normal."

Luke remained noncommittal.

Ferid tried to pull out his sword, but after applying force, he frowned slightly. He couldn't pull it out?

Applying force again, a faint metallic scraping sound echoed inside Hiiragi Tenri's head; chains within his brain had jammed Ferid's sword tight.

Hiiragi Tenri coughed twice and said with a laugh,

"Haha, you made the Imperial Demon Army perish by my hands; I won't let you off easy!"

After Hiiragi Tenri finished speaking, his face turned deathly pale, and his body seemed to have been hollowed out. His previously robust physique became shriveled, aging him significantly in an instant.

Ferid sensed danger and decisively let go, wanting to retreat, but there were still chains impaling his body.

Bang!

Hiiragi Tenri expanded rapidly and exploded. Flames flashed, and heatwaves rolled.

Luke put on sunglasses, looked at Crowley, and said,

"I didn't do it."

Crowley frowned, the stump of his right arm throbbing with pain, while he also worried about Ferid's situation.

The smoke and dust gradually cleared, and Ferid's figure became faintly visible.

"Cough, cough, cough..."

A disappointed expression appeared on Luke's face.

Ferid was blasted into rags, the skin on his face burned away, looking quite terrifying.

Luke clicked his tongue in disgust twice.

"Ferid, do you have a hobby of streaking?"

The flesh on Ferid's face grew back rapidly.

"Luke, aren't you going to help? You just watched me get blown up."

Luke had never seen someone so shameless. While the smoke hadn't fully cleared, he tossed Ferid the clothes he had just stripped from a corpse.

"When I first arrived, the way you and Crowley looked at me, you couldn't wait to ship me out of the country."

Ferid checked the clothes, fearing Luke might be playing some trick.

Luke urged him.

"Put them on quickly. Crowley watched me strip them. If you let my Krul see 'Little Ferid,' you'll really have to become Mother Ferid."

Ferid froze for a moment and saw Krul sitting in the distance, looking over.

Ferid finished dressing.

After handing over the clothes, Luke hurriedly backed away.

Ferid looked at himself, not understanding why Luke was in such a rush.

Luke smiled and pointed behind Ferid.

Ferid turned back in confusion, and then his pupils shrank violently as his blood flow accelerated.

An angel with an exquisitely beautiful face was seen floating at the spot where Hiiragi Tenri had exploded.

"Little Vampire, how impressive, defeating my puppet. Allow me to introduce myself. You may call me an old god, or perhaps..."

The angel said with a light chuckle,

"Progenitor!"
