Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Overwhelming Power

"Boom!" The deafening explosion nearly tore the air apart, as smoke and fire intertwined, creating an apocalyptic scene.

Amidst the chaos, Bomber gritted his teeth and, using the explosion as cover, frantically fled into the distance.

He knew that although his attack was immensely powerful, it was likely futile against a powerhouse like a Marine Admiral.

However, he only needed this momentary chaos to buy himself an opportunity to escape.

The group members witnessed this scene, their astonishment evident.

They stared intently at the live broadcast, their hearts clenching for Roy. The residual force of the explosion seemed to penetrate the screen, making everyone feel that destructive power.

Yet, just as their concern peaked, golden particles streaked across the sky like a meteor shower, instantly filling the entire expanse ahead.

Then, Roy's figure flickered in and out of view within the smoke and dust, ultimately appearing steadily right beside Bomber.

"What a pity. I was hoping to take you back alive." Roy's voice was calm and cool, his eyes betraying no emotion; the explosion just now was merely a trivial incident.

Thinking of the atrocities described on the wanted poster—how Bomber frequently attacked innocent civilians—Roy felt not a shred of pity.

In his view, there was no need to take someone like that back alive.

"Speed is power." Roy's voice was calm, as if each word carried an undeniable truth.

As his words fell, a terrifying, unparalleled kick erupted instantly, like lightning splitting the sky, violently sweeping Bomber away like a fallen leaf towards a colossal tree in the distance.

That tree, towering and obscuring the sky and sun, stood like a prehistoric beast upon this land—a spectacular sight none of them had ever seen.

Everyone in the group widened their eyes, their faces full of shock.

They had never seen such a massive tree, nor could they have imagined someone kicking a living person such an immense distance.

In that moment, they felt the unfathomable depth of Roy's strength.

Yet before the shock subsided, an even more terrifying, indescribable force crashed violently against the colossal tree.

That force seemed to split heaven and earth, unleashing itself boundlessly, creating a fierce shockwave.

The force was so great that even the sky-obscuring giant tree couldn't withstand it, crashing down with a thunderous roar and kicking up a frenzy of dust and splinters.

On the warship, a Marine officer witnessed the scene and wore a wry smile.

He identified the direction, confirming it was the main base of Doflamingo's operations, and couldn't help but sigh with relief internally.

Although the scene was shocking, he was somewhat comforted that no civilians had been caught in the battle.

"Admiral Kizaru, he's really going overboard." The Marine officer shook his head, his tone carrying a mix of resignation and respect.

He knew Roy's strength was unfathomable, but such wanton display of power still surprised him.

Roy, however, didn't hear the officer's complaint. He withdrew his leg with satisfaction, hands in his pockets, a faint smile on his face.

He had long been displeased with Doflamingo's slave trading, but that man was always cunning, leaving no clear grounds for action.

But today, he could take care of it incidentally.

Watching this cataclysmic scene, the group fell into dead silence.

Their eyes were locked onto the screen, as if time stood still. The sky-obscuring giant tree crashed down, the dust and splinters sweeping up like a storm, inspiring awe.

Then, countless bubbles began to float across the group chat interface, exclamations flooding in like a tidal wave.

[Is this the power of a god?] Tony Stark typed, his fingers trembling. His heart was filled with shock, as if he had witnessed a scene from mythology.

[Boss, are you even human?] Another member asked. They couldn't fathom that a human could possess such terrifying strength.

[Is this a power a person can wield?] Someone else directly expressed their disbelief. They once thought their own strength was considerable, but now they felt as insignificant as ants.

The members marveled, as if drawn by an invisible force, and inexplicably pressed a button.

[666]

[666]

[666]

Several "666" messages scrolled across the screen. Though they didn't fully grasp the meaning of the number, they all felt it was a way to express admiration and praise.

They wanted to use it to show their respect and awe for Roy.

Roy merely glanced casually at the group chat interface, a satisfied smile tugging at his lips.

Indeed, this feeling of showing off in front of others was quite satisfying. He felt the admiration and awe from the group, which gave him immense gratification.

He chuckled lightly, and in the next moment, his body dissolved into countless particles, hovering high above.

His Observation Haki activated instantly, scanning everything around like radar. Beams of light shot from his fingertips, like the scythe of a reaper, piercing targets one by one under the lock of his Observation Haki.

Those targets were the pirates. Once ruthless bullies, they were now struck down by Roy like sitting ducks.

The next instant, Roy returned to the warship and reclined in his chair.

"Let's go. Time to clock out."
