Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Man in the Darkness

One day, I was transported to a world with five organizations. In this world, I was reincarnated in a world full of adventures with five groups: the Revolutionary Group, the Government Group, the Four Kings of Evil, the Slayer, and the Bounty Hunter. It's a story about how the world will become the strongest.

My name is Kawasaki Ryuji. I am just an ordinary high school student—the kind who goes unnoticed, has no friends, and prefers the quiet of my own company. If I were to describe myself, I would say I am like a shadow in a dimly lit room: always lonely, always depressed, and drifting through life like a ghost. Every day is the same gray monotony, and every moment feels heavy, as if the world has forgotten I exist.

School is a battlefield I never signed up for. I have been bullied countless times, and the scars—both seen and unseen—never truly heal. One day, as I sat quietly at my desk, keeping to myself, a boy named Sanoji strutted past. Our eyes met by accident, and his face twisted into a sneer.

"What are you looking at? You want to die?" he barked.

Before I could even react, his fist collided with my cheek, sending me sprawling to the floor. His friends joined in, kicking me without mercy, laughter echoing like a cruel symphony. In their eyes, I was nothing—a pathetic, boring loser. Honestly… sometimes I agreed. I hated this life, this constant emptiness. Inside, I longed for something more. Adventure, power, a world where I could matter.

It was the middle of summer break, and I found myself alone in the park, sitting on a worn bench as the sun dipped below the horizon. Shadows stretched across the grass, and I whispered to myself, "If only I had powers… if only I could escape this life…"

Then, without warning, lightning struck me. Pain lanced through my body, and darkness swallowed me whole. My final thought was not fear, but a strange calm resignation: Is this really how my life ends?

When I opened my eyes, I was in a vast, endless white room. The walls, floor, and ceiling glowed with a soft, ethereal light. At the center sat a man on a throne made of pure radiance, his presence exuding warmth and authority. He looked nothing like any human I knew—pure, shining, and otherworldly.

"I am Instinct, the Creator of Earth," he said, his voice like a melody that filled the space around me.

I froze, disbelief mingling with awe. "Are you… God? Am I… dead?"

"Yes," he replied gently. "You are dead. I am what your world calls God. And… I am truly sorry."

"Why… are you apologizing?" I asked, confused.

"I… accidentally struck you with lightning," he admitted. His eyes softened, almost mournful.

I blinked, then shrugged. "I had nothing to live for anyway. What's done is done."

His expression shifted to surprise. "You… are calm about this?"

I nodded. "Yeah. It's not like life was treating me well."

Moved by my response, he leaned forward. "As an apology… I will allow you to be reincarnated on another world. A planet called Aster."

The name alone sent a shiver through me. "Another world? Powers? Monsters? Adventures?"

He smiled, and it was like the sun breaking through clouds. "Of course. Aster is full of untold adventures. Brave souls, mighty beasts, hidden dungeons… it is a world waiting for someone like you. Are you interested?"

My heart raced, something I hadn't felt in years. "Yes. I… I want to go."

Instinct nodded, his hands glowing as he extended them toward me. "Then I grant you these blessings: Adaptive Learning, and Eternal Youth. May your soul flourish in Aster, a world my friend Asto created."

I felt a warmth spread through me, my soul—a glowing orb of light since arriving in this place—being gently touched, infused with power and potential.

The next thing I knew, I was staring at a ceiling. Faces smiled down at me, voices soft and cheerful. "Sable Kaelo…" they called.

I looked down at my tiny hands. I was a baby, reborn into this new life. My heart fluttered. This time, maybe… just maybe… I could finally be someone who mattered.
