There was a very beautiful village named "Hinakari".That village was very ancient, and in this village, there's a book that has the world's future written in it, and many demons are after this book.The book's name is "Shonen no Hono - The Flame of the Child". It is written in this book that when the destruction caused by demons increases, a boy will be born, and a black flame will emanate from one of his eyes ,The protection of that book was being done by a husband and wife of the village, but they weren't ordinary people - Mr. Arabic was a demon assassin, and his wife was a goddess.Mr. Arabic's wife was pregnant and they had a baby, but the villagers were shocked, and Mr. Arabic was too, because a black flame was emanating from their son's one eye.Mr. Arabic asked his wife, "Aren't you surprised?" Then his wife said, "Do you remember what was written in that book? That a boy will be born with a flame-like eye and he'll destroy all demons... that boy is our son."Mr. Arabic also remembered, and he took his son in his arms and said, "From today, your name will be Rei."The wife liked the name, and the villagers felt relieved, thinking that this child isn't a demon.
6 year later...
Rei is now 6 years old .Rei was more powerful than kids his age; he could beat older kids in arm wrestling.He was a mischievous kid and loved his mom more than anything.But sometimes his flame-like eye would flare up, causing him pain, and he'd ask his mom, "Why am I so different, Ma?"Then his mom would say, "You are special."Rei's mom was cooking, his dad was watching, and Rei was playing with his friends. The villagers were going about their day.Suddenly, a massive lightning bolt strikes the center of the village!The villagers were shocked, but Mr. Arabic and his wife were nowhere to be found.Mr. Arabic asked, "Is anyone hurt?" The villagers said no, but then one of them shouted, "Demons!"It turns out the village is under attack by demons. Mr. Arabic tells the villagers to take their children to a safe place.Arabic and his wife prepare to defend their village, facing the demons head-on. Rei watches from a distance, screaming "Mom, Dad!" .But it's too late, some demons are closing in on the villagers.A demon grabs a villager and... The villagers are terrified, running for their lives. Rei is frozen in horror.Rei's mom sees him and rushes to him as a demon approaches. She kills the demon and hugs Rei tightly, saying, "Rei, we might not make it out of this fight, but I have to keep you safe. If you're scared, just ignite that flame of yours. I told you, you're special." Tears stream down her face as she speaks.Rei's mom goes back to fighting, and Rei, still crying, starts to move forward, driven by fear and determination.Everyone had gathered at one place, and Rei was there too.On one side, Rei's dad and mom were still fighting the demons.Suddenly, a masked man appears before them.Arabic says, "So you're the one who sent these demons here." The masked man replies, "Yes, I sent them."Arabic's anger boils over, and he charges at the masked man, but Rei's mom tries to stop him, though she's unable to hold him back.Arabic swings his sword at the masked man, but he blocks it with his bare hands. Arabic is shocked.The masked man pushes Arabic back with a powerful shove.The masked man delivers a deadly slash, striking Arabic's chest with immense force, and he falls to the ground, severely wounded.Before Rei's mom can react, the masked man strikes again, this time aiming at her. Both Arabic and Rei's mom lie on the ground, struggling to breathe.The masked man asks, "Where's the book?"Both of them say in unison, "Kill us, but we won't tell you where the book is."The masked man says, "Then get ready to die."A loud explosion echoes, and the people hiding are caught in the chaos. Rei is terrified.The villagers realize the demons are headed their way, and they're trapped with no escape.Panic sets in as the villagers flee, but the demons are closing in. Rei is frozen in fear, barely able to move.The villagers are being slaughtered in front of him, and then Rei remembers his mom's words: "When you're scared, become fire".....
