In the deep sea, Goku held his breath, his cheeks puffed out like a frog as he swam continuously in the direction he remembered. Schools of fish swam past him, creating a current as if scrutinizing this unfamiliar friend who had suddenly arrived.
'Where is it? I remember seeing it somewhere around here'.
After swimming to the place he remembered, Goku stopped, his keen eyes scanning his surroundings.When his gaze swept in a certain direction, his eyes lit up: 'Ah! I see it! It's over there!'.
He felt a surge of excitement, swimming toward the glittering object. He hoped it was his grandpa's keepsake, the four-star ball, which had always been by his side since his grandpa passed away.
To him, the ball was like his grandpa, silently watching over him. If the Dragon Balls hadn't turned to stone after the last wish, making them undetectable by Bulma's instruments, he would have retrieved it long ago. Although Bulma said they would take a year to return to normal and it had been less than that, he thought perhaps she was wrong.
He reached the vicinity of the glowing object, but the lack of light made his vision blurry. He dived down toward a ten-centimeter-wide trench and pulled out a bright orange crystal. He looked at it with disappointment; it wasn't his grandpa's keepsake after all.
Just then, behind him in the darkness, a pair of eyes as large as dinner plates opened, filled with greed for a snack. Seeing Goku defenseless, the creature opened its gaping maw and instantly sucked him and many surrounding fish into its mouth.
Goku found himself sliding rapidly forward through a winding red passage, caught in a powerful current. Suddenly, he felt a sensation of weightlessness and fell, landing with a splash on a soft, bouncy "ground". He sat up, confused by the grey-green space. He noticed many two-meter-long fish thrashing nearby and thought about catching a few for Grandpa Garp and the others.
However, a head-sized drop of liquid fell from the ceiling, landing on one of the fish. White smoke hissed from the fish's body, and in the blink of an eye, only a white skeleton remained.
Goku jumped back in fright as an identical drop fell toward him. He realized he needed to get out quickly, but the entrance to the red passage had disappeared.
'How do I get out of here?'.He decided that since there was no exit, he would make one.He slammed his fist against a green "wall," but it sank in like a sponge
Just as he considered using a Kamehameha, the space began to shake and rotate violently. Completely losing his center of gravity, he began to roll wildly.
Deep in the sea, a colossal Sea King hidden in the darkness opened its eyes in pain. Its stomach hurt sharply, making it howl and twist its body wildly as it swam away from its hunting ground.
After an unknown period, the giant Sea King surfaced in a sea area with no islands and violently spat out a figure. Relieved, it dove back into the water and disappeared. Goku arced through the air and crashed into the sea.
His small head popped out of the water as he looked around, bewildered: "Huh? Where is this?".
