"Holy SHIT!" Kaden shouted, his mouth wide open. His eyes scanned the panels, then scanned again. Even double-checking didn't lessen his shock. Of course, he knew his
Kaden sat there on the branch, an expression of excitement adorning his face and a flash of greed appearing in his eyes at the name (DMP). If Kaden loved anything, it was money, and DMP was basically that, except it was used to grow his power.
Still, that didn't mean everything was great. He'd read enough novels to grasp the power rankings, and having to use DMP to rank up at first when it was probably cheap sounded great until you reached a high rank and it became an absurd amount. A positive, though, was that he wouldn't have to do some mind-numbing cultivation. So, it wasn't all bad, he thought.
"Hey, system, how much DMP do I have?" he asked.
[DMP: 10,000]
"How much to rank up to D Rank?"
[50,000 DMP]
"Okay, so 10,000 is like a starting bonus. I could summon a MILF, but I shouldn't; my dungeon has nothing except space." He paused, then commanded, "Enter: Creation Mode."
Instantly, Kaden felt as though his soul had left his body. He appeared above his dungeon in an ethereal form, much like a ghost. From where he floated, Kaden could see his whole dungeon. It wasn't big, maybe around 5km each way. Kaden could see everything, including the vortex of swirling space; he could only guess it was the dungeon gate.
His attention was pulled back to the system when a new panel appeared. It showed him all the sections his shop had.
[:Dungeon Shop:]
[:Summons:]
[:Constructs:]
[:Traps:]
[:Environmental changes:]
[:Defensive arrays:]
[:Powers:]
[:Everyday Items:]
"Ohhh, this is easy to understand. Alright, let's get us somewhere to sleep first."
[:Constructs=Home:]
[:Basic Shack-100(DMP):]
[:Fancy Shack-300(DMP):]
[:Small House-700(DMP):]
[:Large House-900(DMP):]
[:Small Mansion-1100(DMP):]
[:Large Mansion-1500(DMP):]
[:Dungeon Castle-2000(DMP):]
Noah scanned the countless options and couldn't help but praise it. "Neat, this seems to cater to my wants." It knew he didn't want anything expensive or ugly and gave him some good options, well, except maybe the shack, but that could have been because it knew he hated spending money. Sadly, this time it was wrong. Noah would be summoning MILFs soon; he couldn't be caught lacking, living in a damn shack.
[
[:10,000(DMP)->8,500(DMP):]
In the back of Kaden's awareness, he instinctively knew that he could actively choose where he wanted it placed. He also knew that he didn't have to choose straight away. With that knowledge, Kaden clicked a new section.
[:Constructs=Walls:]
[:Wooden Walls-100(DMP) Per 100m:]
[:Stone Walls-300(DMP) Per 100m:]
[Wooden reinforced Walls-300(DMP) per 100m:]
[:Stone reinforced Walls-600(DMP) per 100m:]
"Hmm, I don't know, do I really need this right now?" He shook his head. "No, I should focus on other things." He dismissed the panel and clicked something else.
[:Summons:]
[:Shadow Wolf's(E)-500(DMP):]
[:Fire Monkey(E)-500(DMP):]
[:Stealth Hawk(E)-500(DMP):]
[:Rocky Golem(E)-500(DMP):]
[:Seething Wraith(E)-500(DMP):]
[:River Drake(E)-500(DMP):]
The options unfolded endlessly. If Kaden had a thousand years, he doubted he'd ever reach the end. Some stuck out, leaving his heart skipping beats, but they were far too expensive, like in the millions. He nearly passed out at the mere sight of the zeros.
"Sigh~ that number sure was scary. Alright, focus. Let's buy this, let's buy that. Oh, and this!" And so, Kaden went on a shopping spree until finally.
[:8,500(DMP)–>1000(DMP):]
A silent, gut-wrenching tear rolled down Kaden's face at the sight of his poor balance. He wanted to ball his eyes out, but no, he needed to stay strong. So, with a shaky breath, he began Operation: Build a Suitable Home.
"Alright! Let's do this!" he exclaimed as he wished away the panel. He Noah floated above his dungeon, looking with great focus, trying to find a suitable place to live. He instantly dismissed anywhere near the gate—for obvious reasons. Instead, his eyes moved to the very back of the dungeon in a quiet, shady corner.
And with that, hours passed as Kaden placed everything he wanted.
Kaden remained in the same place, floating above the dungeon with a smug smile of satisfaction on his face. As he looked down at his dungeon, in that same shady corner, a large white mansion existed. It had three floors, and outside at the entrance, two large pillars stood in ceremony, intricate details carved into the ancient stone.
Surrounding the mansion were tall green bushes holding all kinds of fruits and berries. The front garden held a multitude of different colored flowers along with small trees, some green, some red. The outside wildlife had already begun entering, settling down within the garden; deer, rabbits, and others could be seen roaming around.
The house + the new outside additions came to <2,500(DMP)>, a rather respectable amount, seeing as <1,500(DMP)> came from the mansion. Kaden had wondered why the mansion was so cheap; the answer came when he realized it wasn't reinforced, so his mansion was basically a wooden house in the middle of a battlefield. But all's good, as he could always upgrade later on.
Next, his eyes moved onto the most expensive portion of his spending.
The summons.
His eyes drifted to a lake he had made for <500(DPS)> that now housed a family of three
[River Drakes(E)]
[Description: Water Drakes thrive in wet terrain. Within their class, nothing can beat them within the water. Their power revolves around water and their agility within it. River Drakes are prideful monsters who, even if they have to leave their respective homes, will chase their prey to the ends of the earth just to get their get back.]
It's safe to say Kaden bought them because he liked their determination to kill their prey, just the kind of creature he needed. Though he didn't know how many enemies were taking dips in his new river. But who knows, he placed them rather close to the entrance. Due to this being an open dungeon, there wasn't a problem placing it. He learned that anything within the way of what he wanted placed would just disappear.
Next, his eyes drifted to a dark, damp area of the dungeon where tall trees blocked any sunlight. He learned that despite the paradise-like dungeon theme, it still made sure to keep it from becoming too paradise-like, evident by the multitude of dark, musty places.
In this area existed summons called
[Seething Wraiths]
[Description: Seething Wraiths' very existences are shrouded in anger and contempt. Seething Wraiths are temperamental beings who, at the sight of anything displeasing, would give their very lives just to annihilate it. Seething Wraiths' powers work best in dark places where they can hide and live peacefully. Their powers consist of soul and life force abilities.]
Kaden was beginning to see a theme; all the recommended summons seemed rather prone to giving their lives away. Kaden didn't mind, though; eventually, they'd grow stronger, and honestly, he didn't expect anyone too strong to venture into an E-rank dungeon.
Anyways, Kaden bought four wraiths, costing <2000(DMP)>, bringing the total up to <6000(DMP)>. Kaden's heart bled at the number, but he persevered and carried on spending.
Next, he summoned four more beings, each bringing the total up to <8000(DMP)>, and these were probably Kaden's favorite. His eyes moved back to the mansion, specifically the two pillars at the entrance.
Wrapped around them were four long serpents, two wrapped around each pillar. From what Kaden could tell, they were asleep. What he definitely knew, though.
"They are badass. Seriously, I knew large serpents from novels were cool, but seeing them in the flesh or scales is so much different," he said in awe.
The description also helped this.
Kaden hadn't even hesitated buying them; no, if anything, he was more than willing to buy them, and so he did. As he looked at them, he knew he made no mistake. They were cold-blooded killers, and that's just what he needed.
And now, onto the last thing Kaden bought with the last <1000(DMP)> he spent. He didn't buy any summons or constructs this time; instead, he realized he didn't have any furniture and so he spent <1000(DMP)> on furniture. A rather boring purchase, but a purchase nonetheless.
"Sigh~ my heart hurts, but it was worth it," he said with a sigh. "Deactivate: Creation Mode."
Noah felt his soul reappear within his body. He opened his eyes, seeing the familiar sight he'd left. He took a deep breath, tasting the fresh, clean air.
"Ahhh~ who knew air could taste good. Earth really is fucked," he said warily before jumping from the branch. He began walking towards his mansion. With his dungeon perception, he knew exactly where to go. On his walk, he couldn't help but muse.
"I'd really be fucked without that 50% percent off. Well, I suppose those are the perks of having 'Supreme' in your path," he said, thinking about the future. He was broke now. He had 1000(DMP) left, but that could hardly change anything now. He needed people to invade his dungeon. But then again, he didn't know what existed outside: the world, its people, their strength, their abilities.
He was in the dark. And honestly he didn't want that darkness unveiled by the blade of his enemies simple because he became arrogant.
"Sigh~ let's just go to sleep and figure it out tomorrow, well if day and night exist here" he stated as he reached the mansion. He entered and instantly went to the master bedroom on the third floor and jumped on the bed.
Instantly falling asleep.

The appearance and abilities of summons will be shown when they act. Also the mansion will be shown next chapter. Everything will be properly explained in due time~.
If I made any mistake with the (DMP) please tell me. Much appreciated!
