Chapter 1 - Unnamed

đź“– Title: Dangerous Love

Chapter 1: The Man in Black

It was almost 11 PM. The bright city lights were slowly fading as the streets became quieter. A cold breeze passed through the empty road.

Suddenly, a black car stopped.

A man stepped out—dressed completely in black.

There was a strange calmness in his eyes… the kind that could make people tremble even if he smiled.

His name was Arian Khan.

The most feared mafia don in the city.

On the other side…

Inside a small café, Maya was still working.

She was just an ordinary girl, trying to support her family by working late at night.

"Maya, close the shop early today," the owner said.

"Okay, dada," she replied with a soft smile.

After finishing everything, she stepped outside.

Suddenly—

Bang!

She flinched at the sound and looked toward the side of the road. Someone was lying there… injured.

Maya ran toward him.

"Hey! Can you hear me?"

The man slowly opened his eyes… cold, deep, and terrifying.

It was none other than Arian Khan.

"Please… don't tell anyone…"

His voice was weak, yet still carried a chilling authority.

Maya felt scared, but she said—

"You're hurt… I will help you."

She didn't know…

This one decision was about to change her entire life.

In the distance, the sound of cars could be heard.

Arian closed his eyes and whispered—

"They are coming…"

Maya's heartbeat quickened.

What will happen now?

Will she discover who he really

is?

đź“– Chapter 2: A Dangerous Choice

Maya's heart was pounding.

"They are coming…"—Arian's voice echoed in her ears.

"Who?" she asked, her voice trembling.

Arian didn't answer. Instead, he grabbed her wrist weakly.

"Take me… somewhere safe."

Before she could think, headlights flashed in the distance.

Several black cars were approaching fast.

Maya's breath hitched.

She didn't know who he was… but something told her this wasn't normal.

"Can you walk?" she asked.

Arian tried to stand, but his body gave up. He was badly injured.

"Damn it…" he muttered.

Maya looked around nervously. There was no time.

"Come with me!" she said, wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

Slowly, she dragged him toward a narrow alley beside the café.

The cars stopped.

Doors slammed shut.

Heavy footsteps echoed through the empty street.

"Search everywhere!" a man shouted.

Maya froze.

Arian pulled her closer, hiding them deeper in the shadows.

His hand covered her mouth gently.

"Stay quiet…" he whispered.

For the first time, Maya felt it—

Not just fear… but something else.

His presence was overwhelming.

Dangerous… yet strangely comforting.

The footsteps came closer.

Maya could hear her own heartbeat.

Thump… thump… thump…

A man walked past the alley.

"Boss said he's injured. He can't go far," another voice said.

Maya's eyes widened.

Boss?

Who exactly was this man she was helping?

After a few minutes… silence.

The cars slowly drove away.

Arian finally let go of her.

"You can leave now," he said coldly.

Maya frowned.

"Leave? You're injured!"

"I don't need your help."

His tone was harsh again… like before.

Maya got a little angry.

"Then why did you ask for help earlier?"

Arian looked at her… quietly.

For a moment, something changed in his eyes.

"You shouldn't get involved with me," he said softly.

"It's dangerous."

Maya crossed her arms.

"Too late."

There was a small silence between them.

Then suddenly—

Arian lost balance.

Before he could fall, Maya caught him.

"See? You still need me," she said.

Arian smirked faintly.

"Maybe…"

That night…

Maya made a decision she could never take back.

She took the most dangerous man in the city…

to her home.

đź“– Chapter 3: Stranger in My House

Maya quietly closed the door behind her.

Her heart was still racing.

She had just brought a complete stranger… an injured man… into her home.

And not just any man.

There was something different about him.

Something dangerous.

"Sit here," Maya said, helping Arian onto the bed.

He winced in pain but didn't say a word.

Maya quickly brought a first aid box.

"You're bleeding a lot," she said softly.

"I've had worse," Arian replied coldly.

Maya rolled her eyes.

"Of course you have."

She carefully cleaned his wound.

As her fingers brushed against his skin, Arian stiffened slightly.

It had been a long time… since someone had touched him with care.

"Does it hurt?" Maya asked.

Arian looked at her.

For a moment… he didn't answer.

Then quietly—

"No."

But that wasn't true.

It wasn't the wound that hurt.

It was something else.

Something unfamiliar.

"Why were those people chasing you?" Maya suddenly asked.

Arian's expression darkened.

"That's none of your business."

Maya frowned.

"Well, you're in my house. So it kind of is."

Arian smirked faintly.

"You talk too much."

"And you talk too little," she shot back.

There was a brief silence.

Maya finished bandaging his wound.

"You can rest now," she said.

Arian leaned back, watching her.

"Why are you helping me?"

Maya paused.

"I don't know… maybe because you needed help."

"That's not a good reason."

Maya shrugged.

"Maybe I'm just a good person."

Arian stared at her.

In his world… people helped only for profit or fear.

But this girl…

She was different.

Just then—

Arian's phone buzzed.

Maya glanced at it accidentally.

A message flashed on the screen:

"Boss, we couldn't find you. Orders?"

Maya froze.

Boss?

Her eyes slowly moved toward Arian.

"Who… are you?" she asked.

Arian picked up the phone calmly and locked it.

Then he looked straight into her eyes.

"Someone you should stay away from."

Maya's heartbeat quickened.

But instead of stepping back…

She stepped closer.

"Too late for that," she whispered.

For the first time in his life…

Arian Khan felt something he couldn't control.

đź“– Chapter 4: Hidden Truth

The room was silent.

Too silent.

Maya's eyes were fixed on Arian.

"Boss…?" she repeated slowly.

Arian didn't answer.

He simply looked at her—calm, unreadable.

That silence made everything worse.

"Who are you?" Maya asked again, this time more firmly.

Arian stood up from the bed.

Even injured… his presence was overwhelming.

"Someone dangerous," he said quietly.

Maya felt a chill run down her spine.

But she didn't step back.

Instead, she crossed her arms.

"I already guessed that part," she said.

"Tell me the truth."

For a moment… Arian said nothing.

Then suddenly—

He pulled something out from under his jacket.

A gun.

Maya froze.

Her breath stopped.

"You should be scared right now," Arian said, his voice cold.

"But you're not running."

Maya swallowed hard.

"I… I'm not scared," she lied.

Arian took a step closer.

"Liar."

Her heart was racing.

But she still didn't move.

"I helped you," she said softly.

"I deserve to know who you are."

Arian stared at her.

This girl…

She wasn't normal.

Anyone else would have run away by now.

But she stood there—facing him.

Slowly, he lowered the gun.

"My name is Arian Khan," he said.

Maya's eyes widened.

She had heard that name before.

Everyone had.

The most feared mafia boss in the city.

Ruthless. Dangerous. Untouchable.

"You're… him?" she whispered.

Arian didn't deny it.

The room suddenly felt smaller.

Heavier.

Maya took a step back.

"This is crazy…" she murmured.

"I let a mafia boss into my house…"

Arian turned away.

"I told you to stay away," he said coldly.

"You didn't listen."

Maya looked at him.

Her fear was real now.

But something else was there too.

Confusion.

Curiosity.

"Are you going to kill me?" she asked quietly.

Arian paused.

Then he looked over his shoulder.

"If I wanted to… you'd already be dead."

Maya's breath caught.

There was silence again.

Heavy. Tense.

Then suddenly—

A loud sound came from outside.

Car doors slamming.

Arian's expression changed instantly.

"They found me," he muttered.

Maya's heart dropped.

"What do we do?"

Arian grabbed his jacket.

"You stay here."

"No!"

The word slipped out before she could stop herself.

Arian looked at her.

Surprised.

"If they're here for you… then I'm already involved," Maya said.

"So don't tell me to stay out of it."

For a moment…

Arian just stared at her.

Then slowly—

A faint smile appeared on his lips.

"Stubborn," he said.

Outside… footsteps were getting closer.

Danger was right at the door.

đź“– Chapter 5: No Way Out

The sound of footsteps grew louder.

Closer.

Closer.

Maya's heart pounded in her chest.

"They're here…" she whispered.

Arian's eyes turned cold instantly.

"Stay behind me," he ordered.

Maya didn't argue this time.

Knock! Knock!

A loud bang hit the door.

"Open the door!" a man shouted from outside.

Maya froze.

Her hands started shaking.

Arian quickly looked around.

There was no escape.

No time.

"Listen to me," he said, grabbing Maya's shoulders.

"No matter what happens… don't open the door."

"But—"

"No arguments," he cut her off.

Another loud bang.

The door almost shook.

"Last warning! Open it!" the voice roared.

Maya's breathing became uneven.

"They'll break it…" she said.

Arian's jaw tightened.

"I know."

For a moment… silence.

Then—

CRASH!

The door burst open.

Three men rushed inside.

"There you are," one of them smirked.

"Boss wants you alive."

Maya stepped back in fear.

Arian moved in front of her instantly.

His presence changed.

Cold.

Deadly.

"Stay behind me," he whispered again.

One of the men pulled out a gun.

"Don't make this hard," he said.

Arian smirked.

"You already did."

In a flash—

He attacked.

Everything happened too fast.

Arian grabbed one man's arm, twisted it, and knocked him down.

Another man charged at him—

THUD!

Arian punched him hard.

Maya stood frozen.

She had never seen anything like this before.

This wasn't normal.

This wasn't human.

The third man pointed his gun—

"Enough!"

Arian stopped.

Slowly… he raised his hands.

Maya's eyes widened.

"No!" she shouted.

The man smirked.

"Smart choice."

He stepped closer—

But suddenly—

BANG!

A loud gunshot echoed in the room.

Everything went silent.

Maya's breath stopped.

Her eyes slowly turned toward Arian.

There was blood.

"Arian…?" her voice trembled.

Arian looked at her.

His expression… calm.

Too calm.

Then slowly—

He collapsed.

Maya screamed.

đź“– Chapter 6: Stay Away From Me

"Arian!!"

Maya's scream echoed in the room.

She rushed toward him as he collapsed on the floor.

Blood was spreading fast.

Her hands started shaking.

"No… no… stay with me!" she cried.

Arian's eyes were half open.

"Why… didn't you run…?" he whispered weakly.

Maya's eyes filled with tears.

"How could I leave you like this?"

The men were still there.

Watching.

"Take him," one of them ordered.

Maya stood in front of Arian.

"No!" she shouted.

"You're not taking him anywhere!"

The men laughed.

"You think you can stop us?"

Maya didn't move.

Even though she was terrified…

She stood her ground.

Arian looked at her.

For the first time…

There was something different in his eyes.

"Let her go," he said slowly.

The man smirked.

"Why? She saw your face. She knows who you are."

Arian's expression turned cold again.

"She's not part of this."

Maya clenched her fists.

"I already am," she said.

Silence filled the room.

Suddenly—

Police sirens echoed in the distance.

The men cursed.

"Damn it! We're out of time!"

They quickly backed away.

"This isn't over," one of them said before leaving.

The room fell silent again.

Maya dropped to her knees beside Arian.

"We need to go to the hospital," she said urgently.

Arian grabbed her wrist weakly.

"No hospital…"

Maya frowned.

"What? Are you crazy? You're bleeding!"

"No hospital," he repeated.

"Why?"

Arian looked at her.

"Because… people like me don't go there."

Maya shook her head.

"I don't care who you are!"

Without listening to him—

She grabbed her phone.

Hours later…

Arian slowly opened his eyes.

The room looked different.

Clean.

Quiet.

Safe.

"You're awake…"

Maya's soft voice came from beside him.

He turned his head.

She was sitting there… exhausted.

Her eyes were red from crying.

"You didn't listen," he said.

Maya sighed.

"And you're still alive because I didn't."

Arian stared at her.

"Why?" he asked again.

"Why are you doing this?"

Maya looked straight into his eyes.

"Because I want to."

Arian's heart skipped a beat.

But then—

His expression hardened.

"You should stay away from me," he said coldly.

"I bring danger."

Maya smiled faintly.

"Too late."

Arian looked away.

For the first time in his life…

He wanted to protect someone.

Not for power.

Not for control.

But for her.

đź“– Chapter 7: Too Close to You

The room was quiet.

Only the soft sound of Arian's breathing could be heard.

Maya sat beside him… watching.

"You should rest," she said softly.

Arian looked at her.

"You didn't sleep," he replied.

Maya gave a small smile.

"I was busy saving your life."

Arian smirked faintly.

"Did I ask you to?"

Maya rolled her eyes.

"You're really ungrateful, you know that?"

For a moment… silence.

But it wasn't uncomfortable.

Arian slowly tried to sit up.

"Hey! Don't move!" Maya quickly said, rushing toward him.

But before she could stop—

He lost balance.

And the next second—

He fell forward…

Right into her.

Maya froze.

Arian's face was inches away from hers.

Too close.

Way too close.

Her heartbeat went wild.

Thump… thump… thump…

Arian looked into her eyes.

Deep.

Intense.

For a moment…

Everything else disappeared.

"Your heart is racing," he said softly.

Maya quickly looked away.

"I-It's because you're heavy!"

Arian chuckled.

The sound was low… but real.

That surprised her.

"Did you just laugh?" Maya asked.

Arian leaned back slowly.

"Maybe."

Maya smiled without realizing.

Time passed quietly.

Later…

Maya brought food.

"You need to eat," she said.

"I'm not hungry."

"Too bad," she replied.

"You don't get a choice."

Arian raised an eyebrow.

"You're ordering me now?"

"Yes," she said confidently.

Arian stared at her.

Then slowly—

He opened his mouth.

Maya blinked.

"Wait… are you seriously—"

"Feed me," he said.

Maya's face turned red.

"You can eat yourself!"

"I'm injured," Arian said calmly.

Maya hesitated.

Then… she sighed.

"Fine…"

She carefully fed him.

Their eyes met again.

And this time…

Neither of them looked away.

Something was changing.

Slowly.

Dangerously.

But outside…

The danger hadn't disappeared.

And neither had Arian's enemies.

đź“– Chapter 8: You Are Mine to Protect

The night was unusually quiet.

Too quiet.

Maya stood by the window, looking outside.

"I don't like this," she whispered.

Arian, who was resting, slowly opened his eyes.

"Then stay away from the window," he said.

Maya frowned.

"You're overreacting."

Arian's gaze sharpened.

"I never overreact."

Before she could reply—

A shadow moved outside.

Arian's expression changed instantly.

"Get down!" he shouted.

CRASH!

The window shattered.

Glass pieces flew everywhere.

Maya screamed as she fell to the floor.

Arian moved fast despite his injury.

He pulled her close, shielding her body.

Gunshots echoed.

BANG! BANG!

"Stay behind me!" Arian ordered.

Maya's hands trembled.

"What's happening?!"

"They're here for me," he said coldly.

More footsteps.

More danger.

The door burst open again.

Several armed men rushed in.

"This time… you're not escaping," one of them said.

Arian smirked.

"Watch me."

He grabbed a weapon from the floor.

Even injured…

He stood like a king.

The fight began.

Everything turned chaotic.

Punches.

Gunshots.

Shouting.

Maya could barely process anything.

One of the men suddenly grabbed her from behind.

"Got her!" he shouted.

Maya struggled.

"Let me go!"

Arian's eyes turned dark.

Deadly.

"Touch her again…" he said slowly,

"…and you're dead."

The man laughed.

"Or what?"

In a flash—

Arian moved.

Faster than anyone expected.

THUD!

He knocked the man down and pulled Maya back to him.

Maya clung to him instinctively.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

She nodded, still shaking.

Arian looked at the remaining men.

"Leave," he said coldly.

For a moment…

No one moved.

Then slowly—

They backed away.

"This isn't over," one of them warned before escaping.

Silence returned.

Maya was still holding onto Arian.

"You're safe now," he said softly.

Maya looked up at him.

"Why… why are they after you?"

Arian didn't answer.

Instead—

He gently touched her face.

"As long as you're with me…"

he said quietly,

"…I won't let anything happen to you."

Maya's heart skipped a beat.

Danger.

Fear.

And something else…

Something she couldn't ignore anymore.đź“– Chapter 9: Love or Truth

The room was quiet again.

But this time…

It felt different.

Maya sat silently, her eyes fixed on Arian.

"You're hiding something," she said softly.

Arian didn't respond.

"Who are they?" she asked again.

"And why are they trying to kill you?"

Arian took a deep breath.

For the first time…

He didn't avoid the question.

"They're not just enemies," he said slowly.

"They were once my own people."

Maya's eyes widened.

"What?"

Arian looked away.

"Betrayal," he said coldly.

"That's what happens in my world."

The room felt heavier.

"I trusted someone," he continued.

"And he tried to kill me… to take everything I built."

Maya's voice softened.

"That's why you don't trust anyone…"

Arian looked at her.

There was no denial.

Silence.

Then Maya spoke again—

"Then why do you trust me?"

That question…

Hit him harder than anything else.

Arian stepped closer.

"I don't," he said.

Maya's heart dropped.

"But…" he continued,

"…I want to."

Maya looked up at him.

"I don't understand it," Arian said.

"You should be afraid of me."

"I was," Maya whispered.

Arian's eyes darkened.

"And now?"

Maya took a step closer.

"Now… I'm more scared of losing you."

Arian froze.

For the first time in his life…

He had no words.

Maya looked straight into his eyes.

"I don't care who you are," she said softly.

"I don't care about your past…"

Her voice trembled slightly.

"I just care about you."

Arian's heart pounded.

This feeling…

It was dangerous.

More dangerous than any enemy.

Slowly—

He lifted his hand…

And touched her cheek.

"You shouldn't feel this way," he said quietly.

"Too late," Maya replied.

Their eyes locked.

And in that moment…

Everything else faded away.

Arian leaned closer.

But suddenly—

His phone rang.

The moment broke.

Arian answered the call.

His expression changed instantly.

"What?" he said sharply.

Maya felt a chill.

Arian lowered the phone slowly.

"They found us again," he said.

Maya's heart dropped.

"And this time…"

his voice turned cold,

"…they're not coming alone."

đź“– Chapter 10: The Final Choice (Happy Ending)

The air felt heavy.

Like a storm was about to break.

Arian stood near the window, his eyes sharp.

"They're coming."

Maya took a deep breath.

"I'm not leaving."

Before Arian could argue—

BANG!

The door burst open.

The enemies rushed in.

The fight started instantly.

Arian moved like a beast.

Fast. Deadly. Unstoppable.

But suddenly—

One man aimed at Arian from behind.

Maya's eyes widened.

"Arian!!"

She ran forward.

BANG!

Time froze.

Maya fell.

Arian caught her instantly.

"MAYA!!"

His voice shook.

"Stay with me… please…"

Maya's eyes slowly opened.

"I'm… okay…" she whispered.

Arian froze.

"What?"

She gave a weak smile.

"It didn't hit me badly…"

Arian looked down.

The bullet had only grazed her shoulder.

Relief crashed over him.

Without thinking—

He pulled her into a tight hug.

"Don't ever do that again," he said, his voice breaking.

Maya smiled softly.

"You were in danger…"

Arian looked at her.

His eyes filled with emotion.

"I can lose everything…"

he said quietly,

"…but not you."

Maya's heart skipped a beat.

"Then don't lose me," she whispered.

Silence.

Then slowly—

Arian leaned closer.

And this time—

He didn't stop.

Their lips met.

Soft.

Real.

A promise.

Days later…

The city was calm again.

Arian stood beside Maya.

"I'm leaving that world," he said.

Maya looked at him.

"Are you sure?"

Arian nodded.

"For you… I'll change everything."

Maya smiled.

And for the first time—

Arian Khan chose love over power.
