Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Rise of Darkness

The sky over the battlefield had no color anymore; it was a bruised, static-filled void that hummed with the sound of reality breaking. Every breath taken by the combatants was heavy with the smell of ozone and sulfur. At the center of the carnage stood Erif × Daniel, radiating a pressure that bent light and gravity. Every step he took caused the ground to crack in patterns that looked like ancient, forgotten runes. He was the eye of the storm, a calm center in a world of absolute violence.

The war went wild as firestorms clashed with waves of screaming souls. Thunder ripped through the skeletons of broken cities, and wind blades tore across armies like invisible scythes. Donald charged into the fray first, his stone fists trembling with a conflict that was more emotional than physical. Micheal's winds collided with Lucifer's hellfire, creating fire-tornadoes that swallowed entire mountain ranges. Robert froze legions of soul soldiers in mid-scream, while Tom's lightning split the heavens, rewriting the laws of physics with every strike.

The Void Kids fought with a desperation born of guilt. They summoned fragments of the story itself, turning words into physical weapons. Nadish typed commands into the air that deleted enemy attacks, while Senthil shouted ideas that materialized as impenetrable shields. Rithik, Sanjay Krishna, and Pradhanjan bent imagination into pure kinetic force, trying to hold back the tide. Above them all, the Supreme God descended, glowing with a faint, dying light. His authority was being choked by the Reality Limits, leaving him a shadow of his former self.

The Supreme God's voice thundered across the plains, pleading with Erif to stop the madness before everything was lost to the void. But Erif × Daniel only smiled—a cold, hollow expression that held no mercy. He explained that he was a hero who had been written to save worlds, only to be abandoned by his own creators. If reality was so fragile that it broke under his touch, then it deserved to be ruled by someone who understood its weakness. The conversation was a clash of philosophies that hurt more than the physical blows.

Lucifer stepped forward, his flames rising to meet the darkness, reminding Erif that he was once a hero. But Erif's laughter was like the sound of glass breaking; he dismissed heroes as lies written to comfort the weak. As the good President watched his army fall—their bullets useless against the divine and the dead—hope began to evaporate. The OG Supreme God unleashed a final, desperate burst of divine force that momentarily staggered the darkness, but it wasn't enough.

With a single, effortless movement, Erif raised his hand and unleashed a wave of pure control. Time slowed to a crawl; powers froze in mid-air, and words failed in the throats of the heroes. The counter-attack was absolute. The gods were thrown across dimensions, Lucifer was slammed into the void, and the heroes were left broken on the ground. The Void Kids realized the terrifying truth: they could not win. They retreated into the shadows of reality, vanishing into hidden realms to survive. Erif stood alone among the ruins, a king of a dead world, as reality whispered that this was only the beginning of the darkness.
