Janice was very confused. Just what was he up to?
In the evening when she returned home, she saw a large suitcase at the door. She couldn't help frowning as she asked, "Are you going on a business trip?"
Christopher happened to come downstairs and he answered, "It's not me, it's us."
"Huh?"
Janice's face was filled with confusion.
Christopher did not explain too much. Instead, he stepped forward and said, "I'll take you somewhere."
As he spoke, he carried his suitcase with one hand and wrapped his other arm around her shoulder with the other as he walked out of the door.
Janice didn't ask. In any case, she would find out what he was up to soon.
They didn't say anything all the way. They were just too tired.
She had worked all day at the TV station doing miscellaneous chores and was even more tired than usual when she did reportingreport. She fell asleep soon after she got in the car.
