"You demanded to see me. What is it?" Evelyn asked, standing at a firm distance. In this delicate state, she had no intention of inviting her inside.
Erica Jones glared bitterly at Evelyn's stomach, which was twice the size of her own. She had heard that Evelyn was carrying twins.
"It's nothing. I just heard you're about to give birth," Erica said, taking a deliberate step toward her.
