Evelyn navigated the quiet midnight streets, steering her Lamborghini back to the Sin family villa. She slipped through the front entrance and quietly made her way up the grand staircase. As she passed the upper corridor, she noticed a bright sliver of light cascading from beneath her older brother's study door.
Is Brother still awake at this hour?
Curious, she extended her knuckles and gave the wood a light knock. The door swung open almost immediately, revealing Alen standing on the threshold. A half-burned cigarette was held loosely between his fingers, a thin trail of smoke rising into the air.
"Brother, why haven't you gone to sleep yet?"
Catching sight of his younger sister, Alen turned back into the room, stubbing out the remains of the cigarette inside a crystal ashtray. "You're just finishing up with work?"
