After visiting George at the film studio, Evelyn returned straight to the manor. She had originally hoped to grab a meal with him, but his filming schedule was incredibly hectic, leaving him with absolutely no time to eat. Left with no choice, she had to head back alone.
She still didn't even know which specific kindergarten Michael had enrolled Lucas and Clara in.
Less than an hour after she arrived back at the estate, a car pulled into the driveway, and the children were brought back home. Clara was immediately allowed to run inside.
The moment the kids burst through the door, Clara squealed and threw herself into her mother's arms. Evelyn showered her with kisses, and then knelt down to give Lucas a soft hug. Lucas stood perfectly straight, but his serious little face softened as he leaned into her. Evelyn then guided them both to the bathroom to wash their hands and get ready for a family dinner.
