The man held a cigarette between his fingers, looking at her intently. Sitting alone with him in the private room, Evelyn walked straight over and snatched the burning cigarette right out of his mouth.
She snubbed it out in the ashtray, picked up the remaining half-pack of expensive cigarettes off the table, and tossed them directly into the trash can.
"Smoke again, and you can get straight back on a plane to Gag Country."
The woman walked back and took her seat. The man looked at her with pure indulgence. "Alright. Whatever my wife says goes!"
"Why is your skin so thick? Have I ever...," She swallowed the rest of her words under Michael's subtle, warning gaze.
At that moment, a knock sounded on the door, and the attendant walked in carrying the seafood base.
Looking at the deep, boiling red sauce, Michael's brows furrowed slightly. However, for the sake of winning back his wife, he decided he would just have to tough it out!
