The staff looked at her confused but handed her the key anyway.
Madeline took the key from her feeling it carefully. She touched something and her eyes brightened. There was a little space on the key. She had felt it when she dug the second key from the fire while thinking.
She wasn't sure if this was a random key or the second key she had felt the other day. She needed some sort of confirmation so she turned to the staff looking at her curiously "I need all the keys"
The staff feeling like she was up to something, quickly handed all the keys to her.
Everyone present gathered around her, looking curiously as she tried to fix the keys in the little space together trying to form one.
And it worked. With the last click, the keys all fixed on each other. Madeline straightened it out and it became one large key.
