"You trusted an unstable woman with your plan?" Darius asked.
"It's a gamble but-"
"What's life without a good gamble?" Darius said. He actually looked pretty impressed. "You're finally working like you should be, Melody."
Am I?
"A compulsive gambler is never boring," he praised me. Why did it feel like he was patronizing me? I took a deep breath before i stepped off the private elevator and froze.
When Darius had asked me out on a date, i could almost imagine the type of plans he'd be making for us. So when he told me he was taking me out so he could act like a Prince Charming I was skeptical.
Taking a few hesitant steps into the apartment my eyes wandered around the entire room taking in the sight of so many different types of flowers. They were everywhere, different colours and species.
"Darius?" I smoothed down my dress.
"Just come in. Won't be a second." He said pushing me inside.
