Whenever they took a rest, he would discuss with Moon about their formation. Felix's study on highschool wasn't in vain. He memorized all roles of beast pets depending on their type and how a beast tamer employed battle tactics with them.
Felix focused more on the Twin Axis formation, specifically the Variant B—Control Axis.
Such formation was only possible since he possessed the striker role and Moon would be a controller. However, Felix made some changes.
After all, Moon's current state, she was more of a scout rather than a controller. She did not have a crowd control ability like an actual controller would.
However, Felix expected that once she reached Rare rank, Moon would finally awaken her crowd control ability.
