Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: The Streets of Japan

The flight across the ocean felt like an eternity to the men who were desperate to find their missing children. When the plane finally touched down in Japan, the bright neon lights and the unfamiliar language created an immediate sense of displacement. They moved through the airport with professional anonymity, blending in with the crowds of travelers. But beneath their coats, they carried the weapons of a bygone era and the rage of a thousand suns.

Following Savior's lead, the team headed directly toward the narrow, rain-slicked streets where the gangsters were known to operate. This was the territory of the rowdies, a place where the green mark held absolute authority over the local population. The air was thick with the smell of city life and the hum of digital signs, creating a sensory overload for the newcomers. They moved deeper into the maze, their eyes scanning for any sign of the syndicate.

They hadn't been on the streets for long when the atmosphere around them shifted, the casual pedestrians suddenly disappearing into the shadows. From the dark alleys and doorways, a group of heavily armed rowdies emerged, their eyes fixed on the foreign team. The team found themselves surrounded, the exit paths blocked by men who looked like they were born for violence. The bright lights of the main street felt miles away as the trap closed in.

One of the men, a brute with a cold expression, stepped forward and looked at the team with clear hostility. "You idiots, why did you enter into these streets?" he asked in a voice that was filled with a warning of violence. He looked at their gear with a mixture of amusement and contempt, clearly unaware of the power the men before him possessed. The rowdies tightened their circle, their weapons glinting in the flickering light of a nearby sign.

Another man came in front of them and looked at the group of six, realizing they were not ordinary visitors. He signaled for his men to hold their positions, sensing a strange energy emanating from the four elderly men in the center. "Let's bring them to the Godfather," he commanded, his voice cold and devoid of any emotion. "And ask him what to do with them." He gestured for the team to move, indicating that their arrival was known.

The team did not resist, knowing that being brought to the leader was the fastest way to find the children. They allowed themselves to be escorted through a series of hidden doors and passages that led into the heart of the syndicate's operations. Sam and Patel stayed close to the gods, their hands near their holsters but their eyes focused on the surroundings. They were entering the center of the conspiracy, and the real mystery was about to be revealed.
