Chapter 17 - The Titan Breaks

The moment Nymora vanished—

the forest didn't just become silent.

It became wrong.

Like reality had lost one of its rules and didn't know how to replace it.

Brakkus stared at the empty space where she had been.

Then slowly… he lifted his head.

💀 VOID HUNTER GRIEF

"…She is gone."

His voice was deeper now.

Not angry.

Not confused.

Just final.

Kaelthar clenched his fists. "We continue."

Brakkus didn't move.

"…No."

A pause.

Kaelthar turned slightly. "What did you say?"

Brakkus stepped forward.

And the ground cracked under his weight.

"I said no."

🩸 THE TITAN AWAKENS

Brakkus removed the restraints on his arms.

Black chains shattered instantly.

His body began to expand slightly—bones shifting, energy compressing.

Kael's eyes narrowed.

"…So you were holding back too."

Brakkus looked at him.

"You killed one of us."

Kael nodded. "…She tried to erase me."

Brakkus answered calmly.

"Then I will erase you differently."

⚔️ BRUTE FORCE REALITY

Brakkus moved.

Not fast like Kaelthar.

Not silent like Nymora.

But unstoppable.

The ground collapsed beneath his step.

Kael barely dodged the first strike—

BOOM.

A crater formed instantly.

Jemila shouted, "Kael—he's changing the terrain!"

Kael slid back, steadying himself.

"…He's not using speed."

A pause.

"He's using inevitability."

🔥 KAELTHAR OBSERVES

Kaelthar stood back now.

Not intervening.

Watching.

"…Brakkus is entering Titan state."

Kael glanced at him. "Titan state?"

Kaelthar answered quietly.

"A body that ignores resistance."

A pause.

"It doesn't need to be fast… because everything else breaks first."

🐉 DRAGON WARNING

Inside Kael's mind—

the dragon spoke urgently again.

THIS ONE IS DIFFERENT.

Kael frowned. "Different how?"

IT DOES NOT REACT TO YOUR RULES.

Kael looked at Brakkus.

Who was now walking forward slowly—

each step shaking the earth.

💀 JEMILA INTERVENES

Jemila stepped forward again.

Her troll mark flared violently.

Green-gold energy erupted from her hands.

"Kael, I can slow him!"

Kael turned slightly. "Don't—"

Too late.

Brakkus looked at her.

"…Another marked one."

He raised his hand.

And the air compressed.

🩸 FIRST CRUSH

Jemila was thrown back instantly.

Not hit.

Not cut.

Compressed.

Kael's eyes widened. "Jemila!"

He rushed forward—

but Brakkus was already there.

A massive fist came down—

Kael blocked.

BOOOOM.

The ground beneath Kael shattered completely.

Kael was pushed halfway into the earth.

🔥 KAEL BREAKS LIMIT AGAIN

Kael gritted his teeth.

"…Enough."

The Bloody Sun mark flared across his entire arm again.

Then chest.

Then back.

Red energy rose like fire under skin.

Kael's voice lowered.

"…I stopped playing."

🐉 PARTIAL KAELION SURFACE

The air changed instantly.

Not hotter.

Not colder.

Heavier.

Kael slowly stood.

And behind him—

a faint shadow formed.

Tall.

Broken-sun shaped.

Chains faintly visible around it.

Brakkus paused.

"…What is that."

Kael answered calmly:

"…Something I stopped being."

⚔️ TITAN VS KAELION FRAGMENT

Brakkus charged.

Kael didn't dodge.

Didn't block.

He simply raised his hand.

The moment contact happened—

the space around them fractured.

CRACK.

Brakkus' arm twisted slightly backward.

For the first time—

his body resisted itself.

"…Impossible," Brakkus muttered.

Kael leaned closer.

"…You said everything breaks around you."

A pause.

"But what happens when you are the thing being broken?"

💀 THE SHOCK RESPONSE

Kael pushed forward.

One step.

The ground exploded under Brakkus' feet.

Second step.

Brakkus was forced backward.

Third step.

Kael's fist struck his chest.

BOOM.

A shockwave ripped through the forest.

Trees collapsed outward in a circle.

Brakkus staggered.

Blood finally appeared.

🩸 FIRST TITAN DAMAGE

Kaelthar's eyes widened slightly.

"…He actually damaged Brakkus."

Brakkus looked down at his chest.

Then slowly smiled.

"…Good."

His body began to expand further.

The air trembled violently.

Kael frowned.

"…He's getting bigger."

Kaelthar answered quietly:

"No."

A pause.

"He's getting real."

Brakkus' voice deepened.

"…Now I will stop holding anything back."

Kael stood ready.

Eyes glowing red.

Behind him, the faint Kaelion shadow became clearer.

And the forest itself—

seemed to understand.

This fight was no longer survival.

It was catastrophic awakening.
