Fiona lay sprawled across her bed, her stomach pressed against the mattress as her gaze lingered on the dark clouds across the morning sky while the cool breeze drifted gently into the curtains.
"It looks like it's gonna rain."
She accidentally kicked her back and forth as her thoughts wandered to Manson.
"Why did he hold me like that last night?"
A crease formed between her brows. "That's strange; he was like a different person."
She shook her head as if shaking off the thought.
"Oh, Fiona," she muttered with a sigh. "Manson likes being in control; I'm probably overthinking this."
An exhausted breath escaped her lips."Thank God, Ludacris and Dahyun were there to help. I wondered what would've happened."
A deafening clap of thunder suddenly shook the sky. Lightning flashed beyond the window, illuminating the dark clouds for a split second.
She glanced outside, mumbling.
"It's really going to rain heavily today."
