Chapter 98 - The goddess and The demon lord lost

You stood alone in the shattered void, facing the colossal, swirling form of the First Djinn. His crimson eyes burned with ancient malice and curiosity as he hovered before you, the broken chains of his prison still dangling like forgotten toys.

You looked at him calmly and spoke with quiet, absolute authority:

"Evil Djinn… after all those years, if you still don't repent and choose to follow your old ways — and the Goddess — you will end up dead soon once you're free. Heed my warning."

The First Djinn's laughter rumbled through the void like collapsing stars, dark and mocking, but there was a faint edge of caution beneath it.

"A bold little successor dares lecture me? You carry the power the First God gave you… but I was the first to taste true omnipotence. Do you really think you can threaten me?"

He swirled closer, his massive form crackling with destructive energy.

"Still… I sense something different in you. Something that even the old God feared. Speak then, 'new genie'. Why should I listen to your warning instead of crushing you and taking this world for myself?"

Meanwhile, on the battlefield above the Azure Kingdom capital:

The fights were decisively one-sided.

Lukas had completely overpowered the Goddess.

In a storm of cosmic shadows and nebulae, he had dismantled her divine defenses with terrifying ease. Golden light shattered against his unrestricted power. With a final, merciless strike of his shadow scythe, he severed both of the Goddess's legs in one clean cut. She screamed and collapsed to the ground, golden blood pouring from the stumps, her once-radiant form now broken and helpless. She lay there, gasping, unable to stand, staring up at Lukas with a mix of hatred and terror.

Lukas looked down at her coldly, shadows coiling around his scythe.

"You caused so much suffering… for nothing."

Nearby, Miya and the four heroes had brutalized the Demon Lord.

Miya's Starfang danced like silver lightning, carving deep wounds across his massive frame. The four heroes, fighting with renewed purpose, supported her with everything they had. The Demon Lord was now badly injured — deep gashes across his chest and arms, one horn broken, breathing heavily and unable to continue fighting effectively. He staggered back, snarling in pain and rage, but clearly no longer a threat.

Miya stood over him, blade pointed at his throat, breathing steadily.

"It's over for you."

The capital's defenders watched in stunned awe as the tide turned completely in their favor.

Back in the void, the First Djinn waited for your response, his crimson eyes narrowing.

The battles on the surface were nearly won, but the ancient evil before you was the true threat.
