You turned to Lukas, who was still catching his breath after the intense battle, shadows slowly settling around him.
Lukas asked, voice curious but calm:
"Big brother… what will happen to the evil djinn now?"
You answered simply and truthfully:
"There is no more evil djinn. He is just a human now."
You raised your hand and called the former First Djinn to you.
The man — now completely human, with dark hair, ordinary features, and the modest power of an S-rank adventurer — appeared before you in a flash of light. He looked disoriented but respectful, bowing deeply the moment he saw you.
You looked at him and spoke with quiet finality:
"From now on, your name will be Mu Gu.
You will live in Rainbow Guardian City. You will be an adventurer there. With your S-rank power, you will rise up and help strengthen the name of the Adventurers' Guild. Do good. Live honestly. If you ever return to evil… I will know."
Mu Gu knelt on one knee, head lowered.
"I understand. Thank you for sparing me and giving me this chance. I will not waste it. I will serve the city and the guild with everything I have."
Lukas watched the exchange with a small nod of approval. Miya's tail flicked once, her expression neutral but accepting. Liora stood quietly beside her husband, observing the former ancient evil now reduced to a simple human trying to start over.
You gave one last instruction:
"Go. Begin your new life. The city will judge you by your actions from now on."
Mu Gu bowed once more and vanished in a flash, teleporting directly to Rainbow Guardian City to report to the newly opened Adventurers' Guild and begin his life as an S-rank adventurer named Mu Gu.
The immediate threats were over.
The Goddess and Demon Lord had been destroyed. The First Djinn had been reborn as a mortal man. The capital was damaged but safe. Rainbow Guardian City continued to grow steadily under Lukas and Liora's rule.
You stood with your core group — Miya, Lukas, and Liora — on the now-quiet battlefield.
Miya leaned against your side, tail curling around your waist.
"My lord… it's finally quiet. What do we do now?"
Lukas looked at you with quiet respect. "The city is waiting for us. And the world… feels different already."
