Therefore, of course, now myself and the Dursleys were running around the house like rabid dogs, trying to get everything needed packed....
Well, I was actually only pretending... I already packed. Be it clothes, electronics, or other crap, I have it all....
In 5 different suitcases-
I over-packed a little.... meh, half were empty for souvenirs... sorry, not half, but 4/5 were completely empty... but nobody needed to know that detail, right-
Finally, everybody had gotten ready, me with my one normal-sized suitcase and 4 stashed away somewhere by Shorekeeper in her butterfly form... I still don't understand how.
Oh well.
Anyway-
It took us roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes to drive and get through customs. Honestly, the airport even now looked pretty cool... it was still hella boring.
We arrived at the gate roughly an hour before the plane arrived. Also, thanks to our VIP tickets, we were able to stay in the VIP lounge.
Upon getting there, we were met with Chisa and her family... wait, why is Sven here?! Also with his family?
....
Classical music plays in the background as the three families decide to get to know each other better.
The parents sit together, and the children have their own area. A waiter brings us our order, and so we relax and talk.
"So... first things first... Sven."
His head mechanically turns to me as he asks, "Yes?"
"How and why are you here? Also, is it just me, or does your father look like Mister Cavendish?"
".... sigh My full name is Sven Cavendish, the heir to one of the richest old-money families, the Cavendish."
"Huh...."
I glance at Chisa, who sits across from me. Her hands tremble slightly, and her eyes widen, but they still look down at the black tea she chose.
Sven, to my left, is sitting beside the window, looking outside and down. He seems nervous.
"Okay, but what does that have to do with why and how you are here? You still haven't answered that. It is as if stating you're rich explains your motives, choices, and actions."
His head snaps to me so fast my hair actually gets blown back... wait, is it just me, or is my hair much longer than Harry's was in the story-
Didn't it, like, just not grow for Harry?
giggle
...I don't think I wanna bother with that right now, as I turn forward and eye-roll.
I ask again, now with notable irritation, "So why and how are you here?"
For a moment, Chisa and Sven blink before realizing they've never heard me irritated. The suddenness even gives Sven an involuntary shiver, while Chisa gets tense like a coiled spring.
To my surprise, SK quickly shows me what she currently sees.
A very light white fog permeates the air, weighing everything down. A waiter who unknowingly walks into the field of influence loses his balance instantly and falls. The loud clatter snaps me back instantly.
"Wow, what?"
I blink blankly at my two friends, one looking like a scared rabbit while the other looks like a cornered beast.
I turn my head from side to side.
Blink once more.
"Okay, just tell me. I do not know what just happened, but currently I am peeved and would rather not have the circus of regret continue."
Sven: "Uhhhh uh- ah- eh ... uh, well... this... I just... didn't want to be left out.... sorry. So I just- asked my father if by chance we could go to Japan... at the same time as you... especially since you became my friends without caring about my wealth.... even then you constantly lent me money if I asked... you just never asked... friends like you... I don't think I can- more like you..."
I glance at Chisa, my own soft smile reflecting back at me.
"You really got a nihilistic view of the world, don't ya, m8?"

So time passed, we got on the plane, and despite what seat numbers we were given, I in fact ended up sitting beside Chisa while Sven decided to go one row forward just because apparently he likes the stewardess this time~
Yet such is beside the point. The long trip was quite the trouble.... not because I just pulled out my laptop and watched movies with Chisa.... apparently, from what SK said, it wouldn't explode because the battery wasn't a lithium one... okay?
At some point, she fell asleep on my shoulder, at which point I got this:

<<<<==--==>>>>>
2/# unlocked, set buff unlocked, weak Electro resonance ability granted.

With a slight burn on my shoulder, I now became a resonator... a weak one... but surely with not too low a ceiling.
Now I noticed my very Yandere butterfly starting to get riled up and turning red.
You know the seat on the other side of me is empty.
<...>
Soon, I have Shorekeeper wrapping me in her embrace.... it is slightly hard to breathe, but I can bear it... this is fine.
----====>>>>
The flight lasted roughly 20 hours.... it went by way too quickly.
Thankfully, SK made sure she wasn't noticed, so no headache for me other than from oxygen deprivation.
Arrival at Narita was fairly quiet, thankfully there were no issues.
Sven had somehow managed to pick the same hotel as the one we were going to, and Chisa had left for her family home.
It was agreed that the three families would meet up at 8:00 a.m. the next day. It was roughly 6:30 a.m. here in Japan.... ya, time zones and such are weird.
The day was mostly spent unpacking and checking out the hotel, which had a pool, internet, an arcade... ya, it was surprisingly high-end.
Generally, Petunia, Vernon, and Dudley were most excited about the buffet. Myself, I was far more interested in checking what was most interesting to do at the moment.. thankfully, my archive laptop was very descriptive...
I also took time to go for a swim and take a shower... no, I did not see a blue butterfly on the shower head, or get hugged from behind when I wasn't looking. Such did not happen. I was only lying to myself. Nope. No way.
Anyway, I went to sleep around 10 p.m., while the Dursleys had gone to sleep around 12, mainly from jet lag.
-----=====>>>>>
As it is now tomorrow, we have already eaten and have arrived at the agreed meeting location roughly 10 minutes before the meeting time, surprisingly arriving at the same time as Chisa and her parents.... As I glance at Chisa's mother, I can firmly say that she has potential, after all, she is the Potential Girl.
