Chapter 12 - Chapter 12

AMILIO

I woke up in Luna's arms. Her mouth was slightly open with spit falling out. The image of her

bright yellow eyes flashed through my mind although she was still asleep. I'd never in my entire

life imagined myself falling in love with someone like her.

She was not those rare beauties with flawless faces and skin. Her body was gorgeous though. It

made me wonder what Evanora looks like. I imagined a fairly curvy woman with a small waist,

flawless skin, long legs and a bitchy attitude yet beautiful.

No no no why the hell am I thinking about Evanora when my queen is right next to me. I got out

of bed slowly ensuring I didn't wake Luna. My attention fell on the reflection of myself on the

mirror. The scar I got from that one night stand was still there. It had healed but it left a scar.

The 'MINE' that was written by that girl from the one night stand was still there as well. It seems

like these marks won't be going anywhere. I'd forever have these scars for the rest of my life just

because I got drunk once and targeted the wrong woman.

By the time I was done taking a shower and wearing my clothes Luna was awake. She smiled

sweetly when she saw me, her eyes gleaming like a 5 year old. I don't know how such an

innocent girl became the daughter of a mafia but I'm glad I found her and she's not at all as

bloody as the people she was surrounded by when she grew up.

"Are you going to work? Aaaw. You should have woken me up, I'd have made you breakfast or

something."

"It's okay."

"I also have to go somewhere so if you don't find me home don't be worried okay."

"where are you going?"

"I'm going out with my friends."

I nodded my head in understanding before kissing her and I left. I went back to that apartment

where I had interviewed the old man. I had made duplicate keys for it seeing as the landlord

would not budge. The landlord was not willing to give any information about the woman living

there so I had to take matters into my own hands. I was expecting a black room with guns and

incriminating evidence but let's just say I underestimate Evanora way too much sometimes. I'm

not sure if this is even Evanora's house but the woman is suspicious so bless my lucky stars if

they fuckin exist. The apartment was huge, it had a living room, a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom,

study room and a small swimming room as well. Isn't it unfair that everyone got normal rooms

but hers looks more like a penthouse than a normal rented apartment.

Everything in here was pink. The kitchen had pink utensils, a pink fridge and cutlery, plates

everything was pink. There were different shades of pink just to balance the color and ensure it

wasn't too energy draining. The bedroom had all sorts of teddy bears, all of different cartoons.

This house would actually suit Luna considering she loved cartoons so much. It was as delicate

as Luna and I was starting to doubt that the woman who lived here was as good as harmless. I

mean why would a criminal keep teddy bears.

I heard footsteps coming towards the house. Why would anyone come here? I had to hide

quickly.

EVANORA'S

My apartment door had been opened by someone I don't know. The person did lock but I am

not a fool. The air in here was different, screaming danger. Not like I'm someone who'd flee from

danger. Whichever bastard broke into my house was going to pay with their life.

Amilio's cologne weighed heavily on the air. I had spent enough time cuddling and fucking

around with him to recognize his scent from anywhere. He was here. Somewhere here. He is

still here. I should probably run but I'm not Luna at the moment I'm Evanora. I've been yearning

to teach Amilio a lesson and now I have the chance to do that.

"I know you're here so just show yourself and stop hiding."

Silence. All I got was silence in return. Not sure what he was hoping to find In an apartment

filled with the color pink, bathed in innocence but whatever.

"No need to hide Red, I know you're here."

He came from behind. Pathetic is not enough to describe this stupid move. He decided to attack

from behind but I didn't give him the satisfaction of laying a finger on me. We got into a fight,

fists flying in the air, both of us trying to knock each other out but he's no worthy opponent. I

learned so many forms of fighting it was so easy to take him down.

I tied him to the ceiling light, it's strong enough to hold his weight and if it doesn't I have to find a

better apartment.

"My apartment is stained with blood now. Before leaving make sure you clean up here or else I'll

gladly kill you in this very house and soak my walls with your filthy blood in honor of you

stupidity."

I left.

Amilio freed himself and called Mabel over to the apartment. He activated the GPS tracker he

had secretly put on Evanora. Mabel soon came an hour later because the drive from home to

the apartment was a long one.

"I have a GPS tracker on her, before she figures it out I need your help to catch her."

"Why didn't you call the police department?"

"I trust you way more than I could trust them now let's go."

They followed the tracking device until it led them to a quiet village. They found Evanora sitting

by a river holding a snake. She was defanging it. She held the snake's head and sat on its tail

whilst removing its fangs. Since she wore cloves and was fully covered up the poison being

spewed by the snake did not affect her at all. When she was done she threw the snake far away

and put the snake poison that was spat on her leather in a small experimental tube.

She smiled looking at the poison completely oblivious to the presence of Amilio and Mabel.

Mabel was shocked when she saw her holding one of the most poisonous snakes there could

be on earth and even worse defanging it like it was nothing.

She knew Evanora was dangerous but she had never in seven lifetimes guessed that she didn't

even fear one of the deadliest animals in the world.

"brother, if she can defang a snake, what will she do to us?"

"You're trained in taekwondo, martial arts, karate and other fighting methods as well, you're the

perfect match for her, don't worry."

"I've never defanged a snake, Amilio , let alone killed a lizard and you think I'm the perfect

match for her."

"Just shut up and follow my lead."

"Hey Evanora."

Evanora looked back only to see Mabel and Amilio standing behind her. She rolled her eyes

which went unnoticed to them because her eyes were covered as well.

She figured Amilio had put some tracker device on her or something during the fight. She

looked at the brother and sister duo deciding to let them win. If she wanted to deal with them

properly she had to make them think for a second that they were in control. Maybe they'd feel

better about themselves.

"Okay let's get this over with. Wait." Mabel and Amilio looked at each other then back at her.

"I seriously want my apartment clean, if there's even a slight stain of your blood I'll torture you to

death. My carpet cost a lot and everything in there is enough to buy a whole city."

Mabel and Amilio charged towards her, working together to fight Evanora. The snake she had

forcefully defanged had actually drained much of her energy. She was in no mood to fight so

she allowed herself to be captured, despite knowing that she'd risk them knowing her identity

and she'd ruin her reputation if she was arrested.

Mabel removed Evanora's mask. Amilio stared at her for a little too long. Mabel gasped upon

seeing Evanora's face. She was nothing like she had expected. She had a tiny nose, bright

yellow eyes that looked so identical to Luna's own eyes, smooth baby skin with a faint hint of

freckles and plump lips. She was not a hot seductress bitch like she was expected to be. She

looked like an innocent girl who had never killed a single soul before.
