Chapter 1 - Prologue: The Night Everything Began

This world once stood in balance.

The islands surrounding the center of the world lived with their own respective powers. Fire that burned fiercely, Wind that was unseen yet deadly, and other elements that kept life moving as it should. At its center stood a region that had long been a gathering place of magical knowledge, even though true power at that time still rested in the hands of the Fire Nation.

The Fire Nation was known as the origin of much of the magic used in the world. They were not only powerful, but also the creators of spells that were not fully understood by other nations. Their power felt alive, wild, and difficult to control, as if magic itself chose who was worthy of wielding it.

Above all of that, they possessed a power that made the world submit without resistance.

Solvaris.

A legendary winged creature with a pale white body like ash. In its calm state, it appeared peaceful. But when its power was awakened, its fur transformed into blazing flames capable of devouring anything it touched. As long as that creature remained on the side of the Fire Nation, no element dared to challenge them directly.

The Wind Nation, at that time, was known as Fire's closest ally. They lived side by side, complementing one another, but that relationship slowly changed without the outside world realizing it. In the shadows, the Wind Nation began stealing spell books, studying magic that did not belong to them, and conducting experiments by hunting the smaller creatures of Fire to understand the weaknesses of that power.

None of this happened in a short time. Preparations were carried out for years, until it reached a point of no return.

When the attack came, the Fire Nation was never truly prepared. In a very short time, their defenses collapsed from within. The Wind Nation's assault, empowered by stolen magic, made the battle one-sided from the very beginning. What occurred was not a war.

It was a massacre—fast, precise, and without any chance to fight back.

Amid the chaos, Kael Vireon, the tamer of Solvaris, tried to control the creature in order to turn the tide. But before he could do so, a Wind spear pierced through his body. Without its controller, Solvaris lost direction and eventually disappeared from the battlefield, leaving behind destruction that could no longer be stopped.

Lyra Aetheris witnessed all of it from the palace balcony, locked away and powerless. She watched the man she loved fall before her eyes, unable to do anything but hold back tears that she could never fully release.

The event later became known as the greatest and fastest massacre in the history of the world. In a single day, the power of the Fire Nation came to an end, and the balance of the world began to collapse.

But that destruction was not the end of everything.

Some time after the event, Lyra realized that she was carrying Kael Vireon's child. That child became the only proof that the Fire Nation had not been completely erased. To protect the life that had yet to be born, an agreement was made to conceal its identity from the world.

As time passed, the center of the world began to transform into something that had never been imagined before.

The group that first took control of the region did not belong to any element. They were a collection of individuals who had long lived in the shadows, gathering forbidden knowledge from various sources. Before they were known as the rulers of the center, they were thieves, dark researchers, and conquerors who moved without clear identity.

They stole spell books from different elements, conducted experiments on living beings, and used powers they did not fully understand to strengthen themselves. Several smaller regions had once fallen under their control in secret, used as testing grounds before being destroyed to leave no trace behind.

That group eventually became known by a single name.

Fleur de Bleau.

Their power was identified by the color blue—a cold light that did not originate from any single element, but from something that had surpassed them all.

From all the experiments they conducted, they discovered something that changed the course of the world.

Crystal stones.

A medium capable of storing magical power within it. With these crystals, magic no longer depended on an individual's ability. Power could be stored, transferred, and used again by anyone who had access to it.

That discovery became the beginning of a great transformation.

The central city developed rapidly. Structures were built with the aid of magic stored within crystals. Defense systems were created in ways never seen before. They no longer relied on a single element, but instead combined various powers into something entirely new.

At the peak of their power, Fleur de Bleau finally seized the throne of the center completely.

The Wind Nation, which had previously held control, was unable to defend it. Even before war could truly begin, they had already witnessed the strength of the seal and the magical technology possessed by that group.

When war was declared, the Wind Nation did not fight back.

They surrendered.

Not because they did not want to resist, but because they already knew the outcome.

There was no possible victory.

No resistance would be enough.

Only destruction awaited if they tried.

After that, Fleur de Bleau strengthened their rule by creating a seal.

A massive sphere of energy placed above the central palace, surrounded by particles of light that moved endlessly. When the seal was activated, a bright blue light filled the sky, and waves of energy spread across the entire world, revealing just how far their power had evolved.

That night became a turning point.

Not because the world stopped, but because all elements began to realize that the center was no longer merely a place of knowledge.

It had become power.

And that power now had an owner.

From that moment on, movements began to emerge across every region.

Alliances started to fracture. Ambition began to rise. Every element now shared the same goal—to take control of the center.

No one knew how all of this would end.

But one thing became clear.

That night was not the end of an era.

It was the beginning of a destruction that had yet to fully unfold.
