"All life on Earth will come to an end… if we lose the bet."
Those were the last words Yuvo heard before losing consciousness.
15 minutes earlier…
Yuvo woke up like any normal day, had his breakfast, and got ready for work.
But something felt off.
The silence outside was… unnatural.
No cars. No voices. Nothing.
Still, he ignored it. His head was pounding, and honestly, he didn't mind the quiet. Sometimes, he even wished people would disappear so he could live however he wanted.
He grabbed his things and stepped outside.
Then he froze.
The street was empty.
Completely empty.
Not a single person in sight.
Frowning, Yuvo checked his watch.
8:00 AM.
"Not early…"
That's when he realized something was seriously wrong.
Trying to stay calm, he headed to his workplace. But when he arrived, everything was closed. No lights, no movement, no people.
A strange fear crept into his chest.
He quickly pulled out his phone and called his friends.
Once. Twice. Again and again.
No answer.
"Where is everyone…?"
Deciding to head back home, he kept looking around, trying to make sense of it all.
Where did everyone go?
What happened?
Why is no one answering?
Then suddenly—he stopped.
Right in the middle of the city…
There was a massive hole.
A dark abyss that definitely wasn't there before.
"What the hell is that?!"
He slowly stepped closer.
And then—
A force pulled him forward.
Like a magnet.
"Wait—no… NO!"
He tried to resist, but it was useless. The force was too strong.
"HELP! SOMEBODY HELP ME!!"
But there was no one left to hear him.
In the next instant—
He was dragged into the hole.
Darkness.
Silence.
Nothing.
"Target successfully captured. The last human has been secured."

Yuvo regained consciousness to the loud sound of a massive door opening.
Two figures entered. One was human.
The other… wasn't.
Behind them stood two guards, both from the same species as the strange creature.
"Who are you?! Stay back! What do you want from me?!"
Yuvo shouted in panic.
But the moment he raised his voice, the guards pointed their weapons straight at his head.
The human stepped forward with a smile.
"Yuvo… welcome. We've been waiting for you for a long time."
"What do you want from me?! Why am I here?!"
Before he could get an answer—
An alarm suddenly went off.
The human and the creature immediately turned and ran. The guards grabbed Yuvo and dragged him along.
They entered a room filled with countless buttons of different colors. Another human stood there, monitoring everything.
He quickly pressed a button, and the alarm stopped.
Then he looked at the others.
"The time is getting close."
The other one nodded.
"Good. The last piece we needed… is finally here."
Then he turned to the strange creature.
"Get ready… we begin today."
