Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 Toilet Paper

After browsing through all the random items in the shop, Shen Muyu roughly figured out the exchange rates for some of the supplies.

Excluding some overpriced items and some rare resources, the ratio of wood blocks to iron blocks is approximately 6:1, while the ratio of wood blocks to rubber blocks is approximately 3:1.

As for items like gasoline and food, there is no fixed exchange method.

After getting a general understanding of the market, Shen Muyu posted several links for trading toilet paper. Three wooden blocks, hemp rope, or a piece of rubber could be exchanged for one roll of toilet paper, while one iron block could be exchanged for two rolls.

Shen Muyu didn't set the price too high. At this time, everyone's resources were limited. If the price was too high, probably not many people would switch. After all, toilet paper is not a necessity. Setting the price at a level that people can afford is just right.

The link had only been up for a short time when more than a dozen copies were sold. Seeing this, Shen Muyu quickly made some more to replenish the stock.

At this moment, a young man, covered in sweat and pale-faced, squatted next to a sports car and gave a big smile with tears in his eyes.

Before being transported to this world, he was receiving intravenous fluids at the hospital for gastroenteritis. Who knew that he would be transported to this place as soon as the medication was administered? His constantly churning stomach forced him to stop and vent his frustration almost every ten minutes or so of driving.

The toilet paper in his pocket disappeared quickly, but even if no one paid attention, he wanted to live with dignity! It's just toilet paper! He'd buy it even if it meant going bankrupt!

"You idiot who charges me a piece of wood for three sheets of toilet paper, please don't let me run into you! Otherwise, I'll make you pay!" He was moved to tears when he bought Shen Muyu toilet paper, but he didn't forget to give the unscrupulous merchant who sold it by the sheet a good scolding in a private message.

The unscrupulous businessman, far away, sneezed twice after seeing the barrage of private messages. He then shook his head helplessly. Sure enough, this kind of high-profit business couldn't last long, but the income for this short while was enough to make him happy.

After laughing and closing the chat page, he also bought a roll of toilet paper. After all, he had almost sold out of his stock, so this was a great deal! We need more good (and silly) people like him!

...

After listing several tires at twice the price of the raw materials, Shen Muyu closed the online store. She still had to drive for several hours in the afternoon, so she needed to take a short nap to replenish her energy.

"Xiao A, can you roughly sense the changes outside the car?" Shen Muyu had just recovered from a fever and had been concentrating for so long, so she was a little tired and worried that she might be sleeping too soundly to notice the outside noise.

"Little A can't observe the outside world for now, but if there's any movement outside, there should be some sound coming in, and Little A can sense that." Little A thought for a moment and replied. Although it can't see, it can still hear sounds. This cave is so quiet, if something comes, there should be some sound coming in, right?

"Okay, that's enough. Wake me up in half an hour. If anything happens in the meantime, remember to wake me up immediately."

Perhaps due to physical and mental exhaustion, Shen Muyu fell asleep almost as soon as she lay down in the chair.

Half an hour passed in the blink of an eye. When Shen Muyu was woken up, he even had the illusion that he had just closed his eyes. However, this was not the time to sleep. After patting himself hard, Shen Muyu continued his journey.

There seemed to be very few gaps in the cave, so the air circulation was extremely poor. The whole car was like a steamer, and sweat kept streaming down Shen Muyu's forehead. Even when she opened the car window next to her a crack, it didn't help.

When Shen Muyu felt his head starting to feel dizzy, he finally turned on the car's air conditioning. However, this was not a long-term solution. The car couldn't be left running all the time, and opening the car windows at night was too dangerous. Shen Muyu couldn't help but think that it would be great if he could find a rechargeable fan in the trunk.

Unfortunately, things don't always go as planned. Shen Muyu only encountered some wooden boxes all afternoon, but these boxes usually only contained basic supplies. The drop rate for higher-level items was extremely low. The best things she got during this time were some food and drinks; the rest were all basic materials.

"Little A, what time is it now?" Shen Muyu stared intently at the road ahead. She had entered a very small space, and she could easily bump into the surrounding stone walls if she wasn't careful.

"Master, it's seven o'clock at night now," Little A replied immediately upon hearing this.

"I don't know how long this road is. I hope we can get through before eight o'clock, otherwise we'll waste fuel." Shen Muyu said to himself. Resource boxes will no longer refresh after eight o'clock at night. Traveling at that time would be a complete waste. However, this road is too dangerous. If we encounter something, we may not be able to drive. We still have to avoid it.

"Don't worry, Master. Little A will always stay with you." Although Little A is only a basic AI, it is, after all, a product of a high-dimensional galaxy. Therefore, it can still sense some changes in human emotions. Shen Muyu's emotions at this moment seemed to carry a hint of anxiety.

"Okay, thank you, Xiao A." Shen Muyu breathed a sigh of relief after hearing this and composed herself. She didn't know if it was the overly dark and enclosed environment or the stuffy and humid air, but she was always unconsciously anxious and found it difficult to even maintain a peaceful state of mind. Fortunately, Xiao A could talk to her from time to time, otherwise she probably would have had to take a break after walking for a while.

After driving for about half an hour, Shen Muyu finally left the area she had just been in.

Looking at the cave in front of her, which was still low but very wide, she breathed a sigh of relief. The increasingly narrow cave had made her feel as if she were drowning in the deep sea, feeling as if she were being squeezed and unable to breathe. Now she finally felt a little more comfortable.

Not long after driving off, Shen Muyu saw the box placed directly in front of him. Unlike the wooden box, the entire box reflected a metallic luster because of the car headlights, making it look much more high-end. Shen Muyu couldn't help but feel delighted when he saw it.

Stopping beside the box, Shen Muyu carefully pried open the lock with a diamond axe, but the next second a clicking sound rang out and an unidentified object suddenly flew towards Shen Muyu.

Shen Muyu was not alarmed. She had anticipated this situation, so she took a step back and swung her axe forward, splitting the object in two in the blink of an eye.

When Shen Muyu saw blood splattering out, she immediately ran a few steps to the side. The blood that should have landed on her splattered onto the car, but fortunately, the amount was small, and Shen Muyu wiped it away vigorously with toilet paper.
