[Infinite Stamina]
Legendary Trait
"I can do this forever" You must be some kind of monster, that's the only explanation. You could walk forever and not get out of breath, and you can be sure that no matter what you will never run out of stamina, you may strain your body but in terms of bodily energy, you have infinite, does not affect mana/energy.
A wave of revitalizing energy washed through each and every cell in my body. The very concept of physical fatigue was violently torn from my body as the lactic acid in my muscles dissolved into nothingness. I took a deep breath, feeling my lungs expand flawlessly.
'Captain America could eat his heart out; I literally could do this all day.'
Maybe even until the heat death of the universe.
[Black Heart]
Legendary Trait
Solo Levelling - You have a second metaphysical heart that massively increases your mana capacity and regeneration while also boosting all necromancy abilities significantly.
A heavy THUMP vibrated directly behind my sternum, right next to my heart.
I gasped, my eyes widening. A secondary organ flared to life inside my chest cavity. It felt like a cold engine block had just been dropped into my soul, revving up with an intimidating thrum. Raw and incredibly dense mana began pumping through my veins, intertwining with my own energy. The sheer density of it made my eyes turn black for a fraction of a second before the energy stabilised.
'A massive mana boost is great, but why the hell does it specifically boost necromancy?' I wondered, rubbing my chest as the dual heartbeats synced into a powerful rhythm. 'Now, where do I get a necromancy ability from?'
[Denied from Oblivion]
Legendary Trait
The gates of hell are closed for the likes of you, and heaven kicked down the ladder so you are just stuck here. You remain in the mortal world as a soul after your death.
{PS: No worries my little gambler, you can always come to my Pachinko Parlour.
~ Love RNGesus}
A strange chill washed over me as I looked up at the sky, suddenly acutely aware that the afterlife was no longer an option.
'So basically I'm going to be a vengeful ghost whenever I die? I really need to solve this.'
[Master Shooting]
Epic Skill
Your marksmanship is on the level of legends like Orion or Arash, or it might be if you train enough. Few mortals can dodge your projectiles, in the old times you would have been hailed as a legendary archer.
'I don't even use long-range attacks much, but I guess I can flex on Bullseye when I get the chance,' I mused.
Moving in real-time, I casually raised my hand and aimed a finger gun at the GDA soldier standing to Cecil's left. "Bang," I mouthed.
The soldier flinched as the rifle was yanked out of his hands.
"Time's up! Fire!" Cecil roared, his patience snapping.
"Wait for it," I whispered as the system screen violently glitched, finally rolling the mythical rolls.
The soft blue holographic light shattered like glass.
[Meruem]
Mythical Familiar
Hunter x Hunter - Meruem is the Chimaera Ant King. Meruem is a true monster, possessing tremendous physical abilities and an IQ beyond even most geniuses. His most powerful ability is the ability to consume the flesh of others to gain their abilities and increase his own stats(Does not work on Gacha wielder or Gacha Familiars), but he is limited by the number of ability slots you have; if you have 2 ability slots, so does he. Lastly, he has immense mastery over his own nen.
"Wait, isn't he a bit too op considering I have 9 slots active?' I thought, baffled by the incredible luck I had, doubting the rolls for a second.
I closed my eyes, time still moving ultra-slow as I felt Meruem in my familiar space as his aura and the strength of our connection completely overshadowed my other connection to other familiars.
But before I could even summon him, the final Mythical roll came to a halt as richest violet light covered the gacha wheel.
[Shadow Monarch]
Legendary Ability
Solo Leveling - Allows you to extract shadows from corpses to turn into minions under your command, the shadows are immortal as long as their bodies are restored by your mana, the level of shadows you can raise and the amount you can store on you at once is dependant on your energy levels.
The interface faded and the violet light died down, leaving me staring into the empty air above the suburban street.
I just stood there, gawking at what I'd just read.
"Holy. Fucking. Shit."
The rush of Gacha dopamine slammed into my monkey brain so hard I literally forgot where I was.
I forgot about the Viltrumites putting a crosshair on my back, about Sebas declaring a galactic holy war in my name, and I even forgot about the GDA aiming guns at me. All of the panic and anxiety of the past few hours just evaporated, replaced by the unhinged ecstasy of hitting the ultimate jackpot.
Shadow Monarch.
I looked down at the street. The shadows stretching from my boots suddenly felt impossibly deep, shifting and whispering with dormant necromantic power. The Black Heart in my chest thudded heavily, eagerly supplying the dark mana needed to fuel the ability. Sung Jin-Woo's ability to raise an immortal army of the dead was just handed to me on a silver platter.
The GDA soldiers braced their weapons, their fingers tightening on the triggers to fire.
I looked past Cecil. Thanks to my Thermal Vision, I could see perfectly through the repaired walls of the Grayson house behind me.
Inside that living room, currently being guarded by a faceless soda mascot, was Angstrom Levy. A man with a bloated, mutated brain who possessed the super-rare ability to open portals to anywhere in the multiverse.
A man who was a problem for me, if he came to and escaped.
I started cackling.
I literally couldn't stop and can you blame me? The laughter bubbled up from my two beating hearts. It echoed across the ruined street, a triumphant sound that made the GDA soldiers step back.
"Fire!" Cecil screamed, his face pale, finally realizing that whatever was happening in my head was infinitely more dangerous than the alien invasion he came to clean up.
"Cecil, do me a favor," I said, my maniacal grin stretching from ear to ear as the plasma beam rushed past me. "Hold your breath."
I willed a summoning and the air pressure on the street instantly crushed inward.
A suffocating wave of Nen exploded from my shadow. It was an aura of tyrannical malice, blanketing the city of Chicago itself in soul-crushing despair.
The sky itself seemed to dim, the sunlight struggling to pierce the sheer density of the killer intent now saturating the atmosphere.
The GDA soldiers didn't even get a chance to pull their triggers again. Their highly trained discipline meant nothing in the face of biological terror as they choked, dropping their heavy plasma rifles to the asphalt and collapsing to their knees. Their bodies instinctively registered the presence of a true apex predator, their nervous systems shutting down out of primal fear.
Cecil staggered backwards, clutching his chest like he was having a massive coronary. His good eye was bloodshot as he gasped for a breath of air that refused to enter his lungs.
Stepping out of the darkness of my shadow, standing tall and imposing with his segmented green tail swaying lazily behind him, was the Chimera Ant King.
Meruem looked around the ruined street. He glanced at the crashed spaceship, the gasping soldiers, and the giant Venus flytraps.
He looked unimpressed. Bored, even.
Finally, his piercing violet eyes turned and locked onto me. The King of the Ants stared at me for a long, silent second before acknowledging our bond with a slight, respectful nod of his head.
"Are you my king? The irony itself is grating." He asked, staring at me from top to bottom, taking a particular interest in the right side of my sternum, probably sensing my Black Heart.
"Hear you liked to eat brains, King?" I said, pointing my thumb over my shoulder toward the Grayson house. "Boy, have I got a Deluxe Mega Mind for you."
