The night was unusually silent.
Arif sat alone in his dimly lit room, staring at his phone screen. It was 11:59 PM. Just one minute left before midnight.
Suddenly—
Ping!
A message appeared from an unknown number.
"Don't sleep tonight. Something is coming."
Arif frowned. "Who is this?" he whispered.
He tried to reply, but the message wouldn't send.
12:00 AM.
The lights flickered.
His heart started beating faster.
Another message came—
"Look behind you."
Arif froze.
Slowly… very slowly… he turned his head.
Nothing.
Just darkness.
He let out a nervous laugh. "Probably a prank," he said, trying to calm himself.
But then—his phone vibrated again.
"You didn't look properly."
Now his hands were shaking.
This time, he stood up and checked the entire room. Under the bed. Behind the door. Inside the closet.
Still nothing.
Suddenly, his phone rang.
Unknown number.
He hesitated… then answered.
A cold whisper came from the other side—
"I'm not in your room…"
"I'm inside your phone."
The screen went black.
And in the reflection…
Arif saw a shadow standing right behind him.
Next morning, Arif's phone was found on the floor…
But Arif?
He was gone.
