Synopsis
Many years later, as Konan sat behind the teacher’s podium looking at the group of laughing and playing "little sprouts" in her classroom, she would always remember that morning—the morning that changed the fate of countless citizens of the Land of Rain. A red-haired young woman, wearing the Amegakage’s hat and clutching a chakra blade, stood atop the highest tower in the Land of Rain. Beneath her feet stood tens of thousands of homeless citizens. Above her head shone the warm sunlight that had not graced this land for decades. From every direction, the voices of the people gathered into a single, unified roar: "Even if our leader has fallen in battle, even if our nation is shattered..." "Please, ascend to the position of Amegakage. Lead us, and keep moving forward!"

Chapter 1 - Debut! The Uzumaki Girl of the Rain

The rain fell incessantly.

The atmosphere... wasn't exactly what you'd call harmonious.

Amamiya Ayane, clad in an oversized raincoat and clutching a bag of groceries, navigated through the puddles littering the village streets.

Around her, a forest of steel structures and massive drainage pipes thrust upward from the earth like jagged fingers, a silent, rude gesture to the heavens.

As if in response, the downpour intensified. The relentless water hammered against the metal, creating a deafening, percussive symphony.

It had been a few years since she crossed over into this chaotic world, and Ayane had slowly grown accustomed to this damp, clingy environment.

This was the capital of the Land of Rain, the heart of the Hidden Rain Village—a place destined to be under Pain's 24/7 surveillance via the Rain Tiger at Will technique.

It was also a place where it rained roughly 95% of the year.

Unlike other nations, a "sunny" day in the Land of Rain was merely overcast without a downpour. A "cloudy" day meant a gentle drizzle. The kind of torrential storm that the Land of Fire saw maybe once a year was, for the Rain, just a Tuesday.

"So much for those schoolbook tricks about 'reading the clouds' to predict the weather. Totally useless here," Ayane mused.

She extended her palm into the curtain of rain, caught a glimpse of the thickening clouds above, and realized the storm was only getting started. With a silent sigh, she quickened her pace.

The girl hailed from a fallen noble house of the Land of Rain—a fact hinted at by her surname, Amamiya. Literally translated as "Palace in the Rain," it suggested that her ancestors had once been quite the big deal.

However, the Land of Rain sat precariously between the three great nations of Fire, Earth, and Wind. It was the ultimate chessboard for their political games and a perpetual buffer zone for their wars.

Consequently, after the establishment of hidden villages, the country became the most disaster-prone region in the Shinobi world.

In this land, it wasn't just the commoners living day-to-day; even the "noble lords," who would be high and mighty elsewhere, struggled to keep their heads above water.

By Ayane's generation, the Amamiya family had dwindled down to just her. Or, more accurately, even the sole remaining heir had undergone a change of "core."

Amamiya Ayane was ten years old. She was a beautiful young girl, but also an incredibly unlucky transmigrator.

About three years ago, when her last living relative—her mother—succumbed to illness before her eyes, the sheer grief shattered the "fetal mystery," awakening the memories of her past life. Only then did she realize what kind of world she had landed in.

Naruto...Black Zetsu's Quest to Save Mommy...The Legend of Eyes: Five Villages Brawling...The Internal Feud of the Otsutsuki Clan...

The world had many names, but none could mask its inherently chaotic nature. It was a volatile, dangerous place. It wasn't just the internal shinobi slaughter; there was also a group of aliens lurking in the wings, eager to turn the planet into a medicinal pill.

In such a war-torn world, starting your "leveling up" journey in the Land of Rain was far from ideal. Compared to the existential dread of this reality, the fact that her once-invincible "little brother" from her previous life had vanished wasn't even the worst news.

Just look at the other villages.

The Land of Fire was lush and prosperous, currently presided over by the "Strongest Hokage of All Time," with talent to spare. Konoha even had the Ichiraku Ramen shop—a safe zone so legendary that even the "Almighty Push" of Pain couldn't scratch it.

The Land of Lightning might be full of "dark-skinned gym bros," but the men were buff, the women were... well-endowed, and the internal atmosphere was solid. They valued talent, and the manga rarely showed the kind of grime you found elsewhere.

The Land of Earth was a bit remote, but their leader, the Third Tsuchikage Ohnoki, was shrewd, cunning, and lived forever. If one could just cling to the coattails of Ohnoki or his granddaughter Kurotsuchi, they could coast through the Shippuden era and stay safe all the way into the Boruto years.

The Land of Wind, while not as great as the Big Three, had its own perk: they surrendered fast. With the vast depth of the desert at their backs, as long as they threw in the towel early, the war rarely touched their homeland.

As for the Land of Water... scratch that. Even if the "Bloody Mist" era hadn't fully kicked in yet, the internal infighting was so brutal that it wasn't necessarily safer than the Rain.

All in all, looking at the entire ninja world, a Land of Rain start was "lower-middle tier" at best.

But it wasn't entirely hopeless. If she could just survive until Yahiko died, Nagato went dark, and Hanzo of the Salamander was assassinated, the Akatsuki—with their iconic black robes and red clouds—would take over the village and bring a brief period of peace.

The problem was... how long would that take? Currently, there wasn't even a shadow of the Akatsuki to be found.

And for Ayane, who had just finished her Ninja Academy graduation exam... if nothing went wrong, she would be stepping onto the battlefields of the Second Great Ninja War in just three days.

Winding through the steel towers of the village, Ayane arrived home. She checked a hidden mark she'd left at the door. Everything was as she left it. No intruders.

She double-locked the door, shed her raincoat, and collapsed into a chair. Though she desperately wanted a bath, there was no hot water, so she settled for splashing some cold water on her face at the sink to clear her head.

The reflection in the glass was a young girl with dark red hair tied into a high, sharp ponytail. Her amber eyes were clear yet piercing, like polished kunai. Her delicate features carried a hint of coldness, her appearance and aura bearing a striking resemblance to Asuka Langley Soryu from Evangelion.

Unfortunately, this world didn't allow you to live off your looks as an idol. If it did, she would have retired years ago.

After a brief rest, Ayane headed to the basement to begin her daily training.

Thanks to Hanzo's ambition to make the Rain the "Sixth Great Ninja Village," they had established an Academy to cultivate fresh blood, mirroring the five great nations. However, unlike the Konoha Academy she remembered from the anime, the curriculum in the Rain was brutally simple.

There were no cultural studies or math classes. Lesson One was "The Grace of Lord Hanzo," focusing on small anecdotes about the powerful "Demi-God" protecting the country.

After the preliminary brainwashing, the focus shifted immediately to Chakra Refinement, Basic Taijutsu, and Tool Throwing. Once you passed the graduation assessment for these four subjects, you were a qualified Rain Genin.

As for the "Three Basic Jutsu"? Unnecessary.

Chakra was the blend of physical and spiritual energy, the core drive for Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu.

But even without specific techniques, the mere presence of chakra would enhance the frail human body, granting greater strength and speed. That was the fundamental difference between a shinobi and a civilian.

With chakra, even a three-year-old could find an opportunity to kill. Thus, it wasn't hard to understand why the ninja world saw children on the battlefield.

Entering the basement, Ayane grabbed her tool pouch. She started with her routine throwing practice. Her self-imposed standards were far stricter than the Academy teachers'. The school required 95% accuracy on stationary targets and 60% on moving ones. Her personal goal: 100% stationary, 90% moving.

This wasn't overkill. In the heat of battle—hampered by enemy jutsu, terrain, and stress—your accuracy usually dropped to a quarter of your training average.

Following the tools, her regimen consisted of 2,000 push-ups and sit-ups. While exercising, she practiced refining chakra simultaneously.

The former built her physical endurance; the latter ensured she could refine energy under pressure. In war, being a second late with a jutsu was the difference between life and death.

1788... 1789... 1790...

Sweat dripped from her brow, but she didn't notice, counting silently in her head. Suddenly, a faint virtual shadow flickered before her eyes.

[You have obtained a new Title!]

Ayane's heart skipped a beat. A new title? Could it be...?

She didn't rush to check it. She waited until the 2,000th sit-up was complete before calling out to the interface in her mind. A screen of light popped up.

[New Title: Rain Genin]Quality: White

Description: Pronounced "Genin," written as "Cannon Fodder." We're all just trying our best to stay alive.

Effect: When wearing your forehead protector, your Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu receive a 10% effectiveness boost.

Reward: You have received 800 assignable Achievement Points!

"So the Genin title is out. Looks like I passed the exam for sure," the girl muttered. She wasn't overly excited about the title itself; rather, it was the surge in her Achievement Point balance that made her heart dance.

[Assignable Achievement Points: 1104]

This virtual panel was Ayane's "cheat code" as a transmigrator. Lacking a name or manual, she simply called it the "Title and Trait System."

As the name suggests, the system consisted of two parts: one internal, one external.

Traits came from Ayane herself. They were the summation of her inherent characteristics, qualities, or mastered skills.

Titles were the opposite—they came from the outside world. They were condensed from the impressions, recognition, and evaluations others had of her.

With a thought, her current status unfolded like a game menu.

[Title System]

Rain Genin (White)

Ninja Academy Top Student (White)

[Trait System]

Otherworldly Soul (Prismatic/Seven-Colored)

Thin Uzumaki Bloodline (Purple)

Elementary Ninjutsu Mastery (Green)

Basic Tool Throwing (White)

Basic Close-Quarters Combat (White)

Both systems shared the same rarity scale: White, Green, Blue, Purple, Red, Gold, and Prismatic. The higher the rarity, the more powerful the effect—and the more absurd the difficulty to obtain it.

Take the Prismatic trait, "Otherworldly Soul."

[Trait: Otherworldly Soul (Prismatic)]

Description: Fortune or misfortune? A soul from a higher-dimensional world has been reborn in this chaotic land. What changes will she bring?

Effect 1 - Child of Destiny: Unlocks the Title and Trait System exclusive to "Amamiya Ayane." Effect 2 - Twin Soul: A powerful soul grants a significant boost to your control and perception of Chakra and Natural Energy. The boost scales with your Spirit stat. (Current Bonus: 65%)

Note: This trait cannot be upgraded.

This innate trait gave her a massive advantage, providing the foundation for her survival in this world. Scrolling down:

[Trait: Thin Uzumaki Bloodline (Purple)]

Description: Not all redheads are created equal, especially a premature baby born at nine months.

Effect: Your chakra capacity increases as your body develops. Upon reaching adulthood, there is a tiny chance to awaken exclusive Uzumaki sealing techniques. (Current Chakra Multiplier: 450%)

Next Evolution: Pure Uzumaki Bloodline (Red)

Requirement: 20,000 Achievement Points.

Ayane's Uzumaki blood came from her mother. Though her mother hadn't shown much ninja talent, she had passed this genetic gift to her daughter, giving Ayane a massive head start. It was also why she could endure such high-intensity training at a young age.

Below these were the lower-tier traits she had earned through hard work:

[Trait: Basic Tool Throwing (White)]

Effect: Increases accuracy and provides a slight damage boost to thrown weapons. Upgrade: 500 Achievement Points.

[Trait: Basic Close-Quarters Combat (White)]

Effect: Slightly reduces stamina consumption when using Taijutsu.

Upgrade: 500 Achievement Points.

[Trait: Elementary Ninjutsu Mastery (Green)]Description: You have a particular talent for Wind, Water, and Lightning release.

Effect: Increases learning speed and power for the three aforementioned elements. Upgrade: 1,000 Achievement Points.

Every personal trait could be evolved using Achievement Points. These points were earned through daily training, combat, and even mundane tasks like cooking or calligraphy. The system essentially quantified her efforts; as long as she improved at something, points were generated.

Furthermore, whenever she earned a new title, she received a lump sum of points based on its rarity.

Theoretically, Ayane could use traits to boost her abilities, which would earn her higher-tier titles, which would provide the points needed to further evolve her traits. It was a perfect, virtuous cycle of growth.
