Eryan, the father and main character, is a man in his late thirties, wise, protective, and deeply introspective. A war hero, known as Silvaris, he is celebrated as one of the greatest figures in the fight against the Dark Lord, his courage and skill legendary. Yet, after the sudden death of his wife, he struggles with grief while trying to keep his daughter, Liora, emotionally afloat.
Liora, twelve years old, is sensitive, intelligent, and gifted in light magic like her mother. Initially withdrawn by sorrow, she is left in a state of despair after Mara's passing. As she accompanies her father on their magical journey, however, she begins to reconnect with life, discovering courage, wonder, and the strength within herself.
Mara, the mother, is remembered as spirited, adventurous, and warm-hearted, with a free-spirited nature that inspired everyone who knew her. A prodigiously talented mage and top graduate of the School of Magic, her presence continues to linger in memories, guiding Eryan and Liora as they trace the path of her life and adventures.
