Chapter 1 - The Girl Who Loved the Evening Sky.....

Chapter 1: The Jar on the Window

Mira was not like other girls in her village. While others chased dreams of cities and shining futures, Mira chased something stranger—sunsets.

Every evening, she would climb the small hill behind her house with a glass jar in her hand. People whispered that she was odd, but Mira didn't mind. She believed sunsets were not just colors in the sky—they were pieces of forgotten magic.

One day, as the sky burned orange and gold, she opened her jar and held it toward the horizon. To her surprise, a soft glow slipped inside, like liquid light.

She closed the lid quickly.

For the first time, Mira had captured a sunset.

Chapter 2: The Collector's Secret

Mira began collecting sunsets every day.

Each jar held a different color—fiery red, soft pink, deep purple. Her room slowly filled with glowing glass jars, lighting up the darkness like tiny trapped skies.

But something strange began to happen.

The more sunsets she collected, the duller the real sky became.

Villagers started noticing.

"The sunsets aren't as beautiful anymore," they said.

Mira stayed silent, but deep inside, she felt a quiet guilt growing.

Chapter 3: The Boy Without Shadows

One evening, as Mira climbed the hill, she saw a boy standing there.

He had no shadow.

"Why are you stealing the sunsets?" he asked calmly.

Mira froze. "I'm not stealing… I'm saving them."

The boy shook his head. "You're taking them away from everyone else."

Mira looked at the sky. It was pale… almost empty.

"My name is Arin," he said. "And I've been sent to take them back."

Chapter 4: Breaking the Light

That night, Arin followed Mira home.

He stared at the glowing jars, his eyes reflecting a hundred sunsets.

"Beautiful," he whispered. "But they don't belong here."

Mira hesitated. "If I let them go… they'll disappear forever."

Arin smiled gently. "No. They'll return to where they belong."

With trembling hands, Mira opened the first jar.

A burst of golden light rushed out, flying into the sky.

Then another. And another.

Soon, her room grew dark—but outside, the sky began to glow again.

Chapter 5: The Last Sunset

Only one jar remained.

It was the most beautiful one—deep violet with hints of silver.

Mira held it tightly.

"This one… is mine," she whispered.

Arin didn't stop her. "Some things are okay to keep," he said softly.

Mira smiled for the first time.

She placed the jar by her window.

That night, the sky outside was more beautiful than ever.

And for the first time, Mira didn't try to capture it.

She simply watched.

Chapter 6: The Girl Who Let Go

Days passed, and Mira stopped collecting sunsets.

But every evening, she still climbed the hill.

Not to take—but to feel.

The villagers began to notice something else now.

The sunsets had never been more beautiful.

And sometimes, if you looked closely, you could see a girl smiling at the sky… and a boy with no shadow standing beside her.
