Chapter 2 - chapter 2- Welcome To The Ocean Planet

[Welcome to the Ocean Planet Abyss!]

[You find yourself in the ocean abyss two thousand meters below sea level.]

[This is an Ocean Planet many tens of thousands of times larger than Blue Star, with a surface covered in a sheet of ice!]

[Beneath the boundless ice sheet lies an infinitely deep and expansive ocean abyss!]

[Endless resources, opportunities, and treasures lie hidden in its depths!]

[But along with them lie endless, fatal dangers!]

[Here, you'll be confronted with insurmountable threats posed by myriad Unknown Sea Monsters and creatures!]

[Furthermore, the crushing hydrostatic pressure, turbulent underwater currents, and the vast, intricate network of abyssal caves, reminiscent of a spider's web, pose the gravest threats during your descent!]

[Your only companion is a rudimentary explorer submarine.]

[Your sole purpose is survival! Mine resources from the seabed, upgrade your submarine, and satisfy your survival needs!]

[Before the ice sheet above your current location collapses, survive and descend to the first outpost!]

[Warning! Warning! Warning!

Don't take any detours and attempt a deep dive in little submarine; doing so will result in your immediate demise, crushed into pulp by the overwhelming pressure at greater depths!]

[What's more, powerful Abyssal Sea Monsters will tear your submarine apart like paper!]

[In order to withstand greater challenges, you have limited time to survive and reinforce your submarine!]

[Name your current submarine: ----]

... In the confined space of the submarine cockpit,

Alan frowned slightly.

The green prompt on the central control screen made him dizzy. He seemed to vaguely recall driving some ladies to a gathering. The next moment, flashes of blinding white light, disappearances of faces, and Alan was knocked unconscious. When he regained consciousness, he found himself in an alien world. The drastic change in his surroundings, the absence of the steering wheel in his hands, and the frantic beating of his heart all told him he was taken away by an unseen force in an instant. Such means of taking people away were beyond Alan's understanding. If one had to speculate in a far-fetched way, he had undoubtedly transmigrated.

"Mass transmigration? Survival game?!"

Alan took a deep breath in disbelief, but he could not help but believe. As his gaze traveled, the sight that greeted him outside the huge glass porthole right in front of the submarine's cockpit stunned him. He saw… A pale searchlight beam cutting through the water straight ahead, illuminating a circumference of twenty to thirty meters. Inside this luminous range, tiny white motes suspended and tiny bubbles floated gently past the porthole along the current. Beyond this range, everything was pitch-black, as if one were in the boundless, desolate cosmos! The oppressive feeling of the deep sea washed over him, making him feel infinitesimally small. The overwhelming visual shock sent a shiver down Alan's spine. It took Alan a long time to snap out of his trance.

"So this is the bottom of the sea, isn't it?"

"And this metal structure is my submarine?"

After a brief silence, Alan was not too panicked. Thanks to years of immersion in various online literature, his way of thinking was unusual. Facing such a bizarre event, he actually felt a faint surge of excitement. Submarines were an experience very few people like him would ever have. Alan had only ever seen one at a marine base on a single occasion, and he had never seen the inside. So, he couldn't help but be curious and excited about his first submarine voyage. Reason, however, reminded Alan that this was not the time for curiosity. Since this was a survival game, his priority was to understand the rules of the game first. He looked at the naming field on the central control screen below. With a light tap, Alan hesitated for a moment and typed "Challenger Deep Submarine". The Challenger Deep is the deepest point in Blue Star's oceans and is located within the Mariana Trench. Since the game is based on a deep diving background, the name "Challenger Deep" felt very appropriate. A moment later, as soon as he finished naming his submarine:

Naming successful! Your initial submarine is named Challenger Deep Submarine!

Before the game officially begins, please be sure to read and remember the following!

[1. The submarine is equipped with automatic navigation. In automatic navigation mode, the submarine will automatically follow a preset path to the nearest outpost gathering point.]

[2. In automatic navigation mode, potential dangers in the dark cannot be detected and avoided in a timely manner. Please choose carefully and try to use manual mode!]

[3. The submarine's internal sonar detection system can scan the surroundings for anomalies.]

[4. Detected anomalies will be displayed as red dots on your sonar screen.]

[5. These anomalies can include mineral and plant resources, fragments left by the pioneers of another planet, shipwrecks left by alien planets or treasured burial sites left by alien civilizations. Anomalies can also include dormant sea monsters! It is all unknown!]

[6. When approaching a detected anomaly, proceed with extreme caution!]

[7. Hunting Alien Sea Monsters will give you mileage points and reputation.]

[8. Mileage points can be used at outpost gathering points to purchase weapons and consumables, and even newer and stronger types of submarines!]

[9. Reputation affects your ranking in the Alien Alliance. High reputation greatly enhances the purchasing power of mileage points!]

[10. The submarine will consume 30% of its energy daily for power. The complete depletion of energy will result in complete loss of power for the submarine and stoppage of the oxygen generation device! Energy must be abundant!]

[11. Energy can be replenished through mileage points or by mining energy ore and filling it yourself.]

[12. Players will be distributed to different navigation regions based on their initial coordinates after the transmigration is complete once the game begins. Each navigation region can hold up to 100,000 submarines.]

[13. Whether to combine to form a powerful deep-sea fleet, or to establish a unique deep-sea merchant group, or to become a marauder to roam the darkness and pillage other people's resources and wealth, all possibilities are available here!]

[The Challenger Deep Submarine dive has been completed, the game will begin!]

[Ice layer collapse countdown for current area: 7 days!]
