Synopsis
Getting summoned to another world as a hero is one thing. Getting summoned as the king of the smallest kingdom on the continent? That's a problem. Arin, a broke engineering student, suddenly finds himself sitting on a throne with a collapsing nation, enemies at the borders, and a court expecting him to fix everything. No powers. No experience. No idea what he's doing. Well… almost. Because while he may not know war, magic, or politics.... He does know how systems work. And right now, this kingdom is a complete mess. With logic, planning, and a princess who refuses to let him fail, Arin sets out to do the impossible: Turn the weakest kingdom into something no one can ignore. Because sometimes, survival isn't enough. You have to build something that lasts.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 0: The World of TERRA CHRONICA

Terra Chronica is a vast supercontinent, surrounded on all sides by the Oceanic Sea. At first glance, it appears as a single unified landmass, but in reality, it is deeply divided—not by geography alone, but by belief.

In the early age of humanity, when civilizations were still forming, people sought to understand their origin. Two dominant beliefs emerged. One group believed that humanity was born from the Sun, created by the divine power of the Sun Goddess, a symbol of light, strength, and life. Another group believed that humanity came from the Moon, guided by the Moon Goddess, representing calm, mystery, and unseen power.

Over time, these beliefs became more than ideas. They shaped identity. Those who followed the Sun began calling themselves Solaris, while those who believed in the Moon identified as Lunaris. What began as a difference in perspective gradually turned into rivalry, and eventually, into division.

As generations passed, nations were formed across Terra Chronica, and most aligned themselves with one of these two factions. The kingdoms that followed the Sun came under the influence of the powerful Solaris Empire, which rose as the leading force among Solaris-aligned nations. On the other side, the Lunaris Dominion emerged as the central power for those who followed the Moon, matching Solaris in both strength and ambition.

This division shaped the entire continent. Alliances, conflicts, and political decisions were all influenced by whether a nation stood with Solaris or Lunaris. While there were periods of relative peace, tension between the two factions never truly disappeared, and war was always a possibility.

In the western region of Terra Chronica lies the Kingdom of Valenford, a small coastal nation that aligns itself with the Solaris faction. Unlike the larger powers of the continent, Valenford does not possess overwhelming military strength or vast resources. Instead, it is known for the loyalty of its people and its adherence to tradition.

However, Valenford's position places it at a significant disadvantage. It is surrounded by neighboring kingdoms that align with the Lunaris faction. To the north lies Dravenmark, to the east lies Noctenvale, and to the south lies Velkyria. This geographical situation isolates Valenford from other Solaris-aligned nations, leaving it without immediate support in times of crisis.

In a world where belief determines allegiance and allegiance influences power, such isolation is not merely inconvenient—it is dangerous. With opposing nations on all sides, Valenford stands in a fragile position, relying on its own stability to survive.

At present, that stability is beginning to weaken. The death of its king has left the kingdom without clear leadership, and the threat from Velkyria continues to grow. In such circumstances, decisions that would once have been unthinkable begin to take shape.

And in Terra Chronica, when survival is at stake, even forbidden paths may be chosen.

It is in this world—divided by Sun and Moon, shaped by belief and conflict—that the story begins.
