Eva.
"Arrrrghhhhh!" The scream tore from my throat the very moment Alex walked out of the room.
The sound echoed against the walls before fading into silence.
For several long seconds, I remained exactly where I was, breathing heavily as anger and frustration churned violently inside me.
Then, slowly, I pushed myself up from the bed. The movement was unsteady and allmost reluctant.
One hand instinctively moved to my stomach, clutching it tightly as another wave of emotions crashed over me.
"Damn that bitch," I muttered under my breath.
The words were barely audible, yet every syllable was filled with bitterness.
Ella hadn't even been back properly, she had only just returned...and somehow, she already had all of Alex's attention. Everything revolved around her—every thought, every decision and every moment.
It infuriated me.
No! I refused to accept it.
If I had managed to make Alex choose me once before...then I could do it again.
I simply had to.
