Part-1
Arin lived in a small village surrounded by green fields and tall trees. Every morning, he walked alone to school, passing an old banyan tree near the end of the road. The villagers believed the tree was very old and mysterious, but Arin never paid much attention to those stories.
One morning, as he walked past the tree, he suddenly heard a soft whisper.
"Don't go to school today…"
Arin stopped immediately. He looked around, but there was no one. The road was empty, and only the wind moved the leaves. He felt a little scared but thought it was just his imagination. So, he continued walking to school.
That afternoon, the weather suddenly changed. Dark clouds filled the sky, and a strong storm began. On his way back home, Arin saw that a large tree had fallen across the road he usually took. Some villagers were standing there, talking about how dangerous it had been.
Arin's heart started beating fast. If he had returned earlier, he might have been hurt. He remembered the whisper clearly. That night, he couldn't sleep. He kept thinking about the strange voice.
Part-2
The next morning, Arin felt curious and a little nervous as he approached the banyan tree again. As he walked slowly past it, the whisper returned.
"Take the blue notebook today…"
Arin frowned. He usually carried his red notebook. But this time, he decided to listen. He returned home quickly and took the blue notebook instead.
Later at school, the teacher surprised everyone with an unexpected test. The questions were difficult, and many students looked worried. But Arin realized something surprising — he had written all those notes in his blue notebook the previous week.
He answered confidently and finished before everyone else. When the results came, Arin scored the highest marks in class. His teacher praised him, and his friends were amazed.
Arin felt excited but also confused. The whispers were helping him. But where were they coming from? And why was he hearing them?
Part-3
Days passed, and the whispers continued. Sometimes they warned him about small things, like carrying an umbrella or avoiding a certain road. Arin slowly began to trust the voice.
One evening, as the sun was setting, he heard the whisper again. But this time, it sounded urgent and serious.
"Stop Rohan… before sunset… bridge…"
Arin immediately understood something was wrong. He dropped his bag and ran toward the old wooden bridge near the river. As he got closer, he saw his friend Rohan playing near the broken railing.
"Rohan! Move away!" Arin shouted loudly.
Rohan looked surprised and stepped back just as part of the railing broke and fell into the river below. Rohan's face turned pale. He realized how close he had been to danger.
"You saved me, Arin!" Rohan said, still shaking.
Arin smiled, but inside he felt nervous. The whispers were no longer small warnings. They were becoming more serious, and he didn't know how long this would continue.
Part-4
That night, Arin heard the whisper again, louder than ever before.
"Come to the banyan tree… midnight…"
Arin felt scared, but he was also curious. When midnight arrived, he quietly left his house and walked toward the tree. The night was calm, and the moonlight shone softly over the village.
As he reached the banyan tree, a gentle wind began to blow. Suddenly, a soft glowing light appeared among the branches. Arin stood still, his heart pounding.
Then the voice spoke clearly,
"You were chosen because you listen… and you care for others."
Arin looked around, but he couldn't see anyone. The light slowly faded, and the wind stopped. Everything became quiet again.
From that night, the whispers never returned. Arin walked past the banyan tree every day, hoping to hear the voice again, but it never came back.
However, Arin had changed. He became more careful, more helpful, and more thoughtful. He realized that he didn't need whispers anymore. He could make good decisions on his own.
As he walked home one evening, he smiled quietly. He understood that sometimes, caring about others and thinking about tomorrow is the greatest power anyone can have.
