Chapter 17 - I’m Just a Harmless Uchiha Casanova (New Book — Please Support!)

Uchiha Kuro chatted with Anko and the others while accompanying his wives and concubines.

Among those present, Kurenai Yuhi and Might Guy had been his former academy acquaintances. Of course, they were in different grades and hadn't interacted much—just familiar with each other's names at best.

They had simply gathered during a break between missions.

As for why Anko called Uchiha Kuro over—

it was mainly because he had treated her to plenty of dango before.

Compared to these ninja who were often out on missions, Uchiha Kuro had far more free time. He would frequently stroll around Konoha with his wives, inevitably running into Anko—who was both broke and fond of snacks.

And every time, Yukino would enthusiastically treat Anko to her favorite dango.

It seemed Yukino hadn't given up on her "Anko plan"—she had just made her approach more subtle.

Seeing Anko now, Yukino immediately became warm and friendly again.

Meanwhile, Uchiha Kuro glanced at Might Guy a few more times.

Morning Peacock, Day Tiger, Evening Elephant, Night Guy…

Before Guy, there was no sky; after Guy, even the heavens bowed…

Below Six Paths, I am invincible; above Six Paths, I trade one for one…

Those legendary lines—

were all praise for this eccentric man!

Still, Uchiha Kuro only exchanged a few words with him and didn't show excessive attention.

After all—

Might Guy might very well be the strongest man in the current world.

But Uchiha Kuro was just a harmless Uchiha Casanova.

Why would Guy ever open all Eight Gates just to deal with him?

Right?

So Uchiha Kuro quickly returned to flirting with the girls.

One clung to him coquettishly, another stole a kiss, another fed him food directly…

He looked every bit like a pampered young master of a feudal noble family, indulging in every possible pleasure.

Watching this, Kakashi and the others felt like they'd been force-fed an overwhelming amount of affection—it was unbearable.

Their livers hurt.

And it wasn't just the men.

Even Kurenai, as a woman, couldn't stand it.

Not because of the intimacy itself—

but because…

"Uchiha Kuro," Kurenai finally said, "who goes out with this many women at once?"

The Uchiha's high-paying childbirth plan had excited many women.

But there were also strong-willed women like Kurenai, who felt Uchiha Kuro was reducing women to commodities—something deeply offensive.

"Why don't you just bring one at a time?" she blurted out. "Don't you think this is disrespectful to the women around you?"

Yukino and the others frowned, about to respond.

But Uchiha Kuro simply smiled.

"No, Kurenai—you're mistaken. This is respect."

"Respect?" Kurenai almost laughed in disbelief. "You have multiple wives, and you're talking about respecting women?"

"Of course." Uchiha Kuro's expression turned serious. "I've never forced any woman."

"Before coming out today, I asked every one of them for their opinion."

"When I married them, I didn't force anyone either. Even in private matters, I always ask if they're willing."

Of course, with Uchiha Kuro's growing experience and increasingly refined techniques…

so far, not a single woman had ever refused him.

"I believe respecting women means respecting their choices," Uchiha Kuro said calmly. "I never force them to do anything they don't want."

"Everything that concerns them—I ask for their consent."

"There was even someone who regretted it right after entering the Uchiha household. I politely saw her off."

That part was true.

Someone had been dazzled by the Uchiha's rewards, only to regret it the very next day after marriage.

Uchiha Kuro didn't mind.

After all—

it was basically a free experience for him. Not a loss at all.

"I'd say in Konoha, there aren't many who respect women more than I do," Uchiha Kuro added with a smile. "Of course, given the Uchiha's current situation, there are things I can't compromise on. So I can only look for women who are willing to accept me."

Kurenai opened her mouth, but for a moment, she had no words.

As someone from a noble clan, she understood—

continuing the family line was a duty for every clan ninja.

And the Land of Fire was fundamentally still a feudal society, where male dominance was the norm.

From that perspective…

Uchiha Kuro, with multiple wives, might actually be one of the rare men who respected women?

In the end, the gathering broke up on an awkward note.

Anko felt somewhat annoyed at Kurenai, thinking she had damaged her standing with Uchiha Kuro—ungrateful after all those free meals.

Kakashi and Guy tried to smooth things over, but the two women still exchanged a few sharp words.

Kurenai left alone, a little upset.

Just then, Asuma arrived.

"Kurenai, there you are." The bearded man smiled when he saw her. "Good timing—I got two movie tickets. Want to go watch together?"

"Oh, right. I heard you ran into Uchiha Kuro with Kakashi and the others?"

"That guy who gave up a ninja's pride to become some kind of stud—you'd better stay away from him."

Kurenai froze.

She knew Asuma liked her.

She had even been considering getting to know him better.

But…

"We just split up, and he already knows I met Uchiha Kuro?"

"Is he monitoring me?"

Uchiha Kuro's earlier words echoed in her mind.

So—

who was the one truly disrespecting women?

Asuma, meanwhile, didn't notice anything wrong.

Seeing Kurenai standing there blankly, he smirked and reached out to grab her hand.

But—

Slap!

Kurenai forcefully knocked his hand away.
