The void behind him rippled as a familiar creature he had left for them to handle previously appeared suddenly, its arced claws racing through the wind.

Then his back tingled. "Ah, fuck!" He couldn't even react as a flash of lightning crackled in the air. A silhouette streaked forth, delivering a devastating punch to his ribs.

Blood leaked from his mouth as he was sent flying into the air.
Ignition rang out as Brandon catapulted himself into the air with his flames, carrying with him scalding heat that encroached quickly.
A palm filled with raging currents of blistering flames slammed down on Seth from above.
