The sky was burning,
not with fire…. but with wrath.
Lightning split the heavens with blinding white as mountains trembled beneath the weight of divine punishment.
The world itself seemed to kneel in fear.
At the center of it all stood a man.
His robes, once pure white, were soaked in blood. His long black hair danced wildly in the storms countless chains of golden light wrapped around his body.
Li Tianyu.
The heavenly sovereign.
He laughed.
A deep, cold laugh that echoed across the heavens.
"So… this is how it ends?"
Before him stood the figures he once trusted the most brothers in cultivation, allies who had sworn loyalty under the Dao.
Now they stood as executioners.
"You went too far", one of them said, his voice trembling despite the power he held.
"You touched forbidden laws. You tried to surpass heaven itself.
Li Tianyu eyes burned with something darker than rage.
"I gave you everything ", he said quietly.
"Power. Status. Immortality."
"And this…" his voice hardened, "is how you repay me?"
The sky answered with thunder.
Without warning the chains tightened.
Bones cracked, blood spilled from his lips.
Yet… he did not kneel.
"I see it now," Li Tianyu whispered, his gaze lifting towards the collapsing heavens.
"This world world was never meant for someone like me."
One of the figures stepped forward, raising a glowing spear formed from pure heavenly law.
" This is the will of Heaven."
Li Tianyu smiled.
"No…"
His aura suddenly surged violent, chaotic, impossible.
"This is your fear"
BOOM
The heavens exploded.
Lights swallowed everything.
Silence
Then….
Darkness…
A faint breath.

Li Tianyu eyes snapped open.
The air was different.
Heavy…impure….weak.
He lay on a wooden bed, his body frail, unfamiliar.
A flood of memories two lives colliding rushed through his mind.
A weak boy.
A disgraced family.
A world beneath the heavens he once ruled.
He slowly raised his hand, staring at it.
No power.
No Qi.
Nothing.
For a long moment he said nothing.
Then he laughed.
Soft at first.
Then louder.
Then uncontrollable.
" Heaven…" he whispered, eyes glowing with terrifying calm,
"You didn't kill me."
His fingers slowly clenched into a fist.
"You gave me another chance "
His gazed turned cold.
"This time…"
"I will not be betrayed."
