Chapter 1 - “They Ignored Me… Until I Learned Their Secrets”

Kenny learned a long time ago that being quiet made people comfortable.

Too comfortable.

They talked around him.Over him.Sometimes… about him.

Like he wasn't even there.

"Bro, I swear he's just… there," one of them said, laughing.

Kenny kept his eyes on his phone.

Not because he was busy.

Because he didn't want them to see his face.

Ignored.

Again.

He used to think it was temporary.

That one day, people would notice him.

Respect him.

Listen.

But days became months.Months became years.

Nothing changed.

Until today.

It started with a headache.

Sharp. Sudden.

Like something inside his skull… snapped.

Kenny grabbed the edge of the table.

His vision blurred.

Voices around him stretched… distorted.

"…you okay?" someone asked.

But the voice didn't feel real.

Then—

Silence.

And suddenly…

He saw it.

Above the guy sitting in front of him—

Words.

Faint.

Almost invisible.

"He's pathetic."

Kenny froze.

His breathing slowed.

No.

That wasn't real.

He blinked.

The words disappeared.

He exhaled.

Relief—

Then the words came back.

Clearer this time.

"He doesn't even belong here."

Kenny slowly lifted his eyes.

And for the first time in his life…

He wasn't guessing what people thought.

He knew.

And something inside him…

Shifted.

Maybe… being invisible wasn't the problem.

Maybe… I just didn't know how to see.
