But just as he was about to continue running toward the entrance of the gym on the first basement level, he realized his cousin was already waiting at the only exit!
Peter was startled: "Since when?"
There was only one exit on the second basement level too; why hadn't he noticed at all when his cousin came out?
The answer, naturally, was that compared to Peter, Ryan was faster and more familiar with his abilities.
Peter took the floor, while Ryan took the ceiling.
As a Spider-Man, crawling on walls is naturally faster than running!
After all, what self-respecting spider walks on the ground? They all walk on walls, okay!
Ryan crossed his arms, looking at Peter with a faint, knowing smile on his face:
"Run?"
"From the time we were kids, whenever Ben and May told me to go catch you, when have you ever been able to escape my grasp?"
"So just accept your fate. No matter how strong you get, your brother is still your brother. Obediently accept this special training from your big brother!"
With that, Ryan tossed two metal bracelets to Peter.
Peter caught them instinctively, looking a bit confused: "What are these?"
Ryan explained calmly: "Web-shooters. They're worn on the wrists, with the firing button underneath. They're tools to assist your movement and combat."
Hearing this, Peter had a look of realization: "So that's what you used to plug the pipes in my room this morning! I was wondering how you did that; so you used these!"
Ryan raised an eyebrow and wagged a finger at Peter: "No, those are things only a Spiderling like you needs. I don't need them."
Although he had made Web-shooters, he himself had never cared for such external technology.
Because the web fluid his own body produced through some unknown principle was the most reliable!
Web-shooters might malfunction, but his organic webbing would never fail as long as he firmly believed in himself!
After putting the two Web-shooters on his wrists, Peter lowered his head with a sly smile, then without warning, raised his hand and shot a web toward Ryan at the exit!
However, it was Peter's first time using Web-shooters, so his aim was clearly not that good.
He had originally intended to shoot Ryan's feet, hoping to trap him with the webbing so he could take the chance to run away.

Fortunately, the shot of webbing didn't hit Ryan's head; just before it could splash onto his face, Ryan tilted his head and easily dodged it.
But the bad news was that after dodging, Ryan pulled out that mask Peter feared and put it on!
Venom, enters the stage!
"Instead of begging for mercy, you actually took the initiative to challenge me? Interesting!"
With the mask on, Ryan's voice sounded a bit deeper and carried a hint of excitement.
Since his debut, his opponents had mostly been ordinary people, which he had long found boring.
Now that Peter had finally become Spider-Man, he finally had a punching bag that could withstand his blows!
Ryan crouched slightly, arms spread to the sides with fingers hooked, assuming a combat stance!
Without waiting for Peter to deny that he was challenging him, Ryan had already charged toward Peter!
Although the novice Peter had the danger-warning of his Spider-Sense, he still couldn't react in time to the extremely fast Ryan. Before he could even adopt a defensive posture, Ryan struck his abdomen with an upward palm!

Likewise, our limbs have those bristles that allow them to walk on any terrain as if it were flat ground."
Standing on the ground, Ryan straightened up and looked up slightly, explaining the source of his abilities to Peter.
"So that's how it is... Ow!"
Peter had just nodded when he looked down and saw a web stuck to his chest!
Then, with a scream like Tom Cat, Peter was yanked down by Ryan and subsequently kicked away!
Peter lay on the ground, gasping for breath for a while before recovering. Clutching his chest, he climbed up and complained to Ryan:
"Bro, you really are my brother! It's just training; is it necessary to hit so hard? This is definitely intentional retaliation for my mistake just now!"
Hearing this, Ryan held up three fingers and said calmly:
"First, if I had really hit you hard, you wouldn't have been able to get up after the first blow."
