Chapter 99 - Chapter 99: Ryan: Oh? You've Seen Me in My Prime?

After the Bifrost Bridge closed, Tony immediately stopped the armor's energy output, which had already reached its limit. Both he and Loki let go of gungnir simultaneously, and with a 'bang,' they were both sent flying backward as if struck by an electric shock!

Peter, who had been watching anxiously from the side the entire time, rushed forward to help Tony up. Tony was smoking all over after the fall. Seeing the scorched iron right arm of Tony's armor—a result of severe energy overload—Peter was almost moved to tears of worry:

"Oh my God, Mr. Stark! Don't die, please don't die! Say something, prove you're not dead, please!"

At that moment, Tony's faceplate opened, and a puff of white smoke escaped his mouth: "Cough, cough... I'm fine. I just took a puff of a new element e-cigarette inside..."

Hearing this, Peter hugged Tony tightly in excitement, tears uncontrollably streaming down his face: "That's great, that's great! You didn't die this time, Mr. Stark!"

Tony was momentarily stunned. He patted Peter on the back: "I don't know why you said 'this time,' but thanks anyway, kid!"

After Peter and Tony let go, Peter scratched his head, looking a bit confused:

"I... I don't know either. Just seeing you like that, I suddenly had the illusion that I've experienced this moment before. Maybe it's because my Spider-Sense makes me too sensitive..."

Tony became thoughtful upon hearing this: "Given how unscientific your Spider Family's Spider-Sense is, maybe it isn't an illusion, but something that actually happened in some parallel Universe..."

Just as Tony and Peter were 'hitting it off,' and the whole world was celebrating the end of the Earth invasion crisis thanks to the Superheroes' joint efforts...

Suddenly, Loki, who had also been thrown back, let out a terrified sound.

After Loki stood up, he looked at the distorted blue light radiating from his body. With terror in his eyes, he looked at Tony and questioned: "What did you just do to me? What is this on my body?!"

Tony and Peter both turned to look at Loki.

They saw Loki's body emitting a flickering blue light, and his form seemed to be phasing, oscillating between reality and nothingness!

Tony's pupils shrank as he immediately realized what was happening. He shouted to Peter: "Not good, kid! Grab him, he's disappearing!"

Peter reacted quickly, immediately raising his hand to fire a strand of Spider Silk at Loki, trying to catch him!

But it was too late. Just as the claw-tipped Spider Silk was about to touch Loki, his figure suddenly vanished into the distortion!

Only a few blue starlight specks remained in the air, slowly falling... Peter looked around nervously, his voice panicked: "OMG, no, Mr. Stark, I can't sense that guy anymore. He seems to have really escaped this time!"

"Only that guy can use that spear to open the Bifrost Bridge. Now that he's gone, my brother is still on the other side in those monsters' territory. What do we do?!"

Tony didn't reply to Peter immediately. Instead, he looked down at gungnir, which was still lying quietly on the ground, and fell into deep thought. After a long while, he replied in a heavy voice:

"No, maybe he didn't escape on his own. It was because of me..."

Peter was stunned: "Because of you, Mr. Stark? What does that mean?"

Tony struggled to stand up in his scrapped armor. He grabbed the Asgardian Flying Orb that was still dutifully providing them with close-up shots. After fiddling with it for a moment to turn off the live stream, he explained to Peter:

"When Ryan reminded me of the new element my father left behind, he also told me that the inspiration for the new element came from an object my father discovered called the Tesseract. He said the core of that Tesseract is the incarnation of this Universe's spatial laws..."

"And the new element I created, which shares the same isotope energy as the Tesseract, likely possesses extremely strong spatial properties. In the excitation just now, it accidentally created a Spatial Quantum Entanglement, thereby teleporting that bastard Loki to some unknown place..."

"So now we have to find that guy Thor first and ask him if he can control this God-King's weapon called gungnir to open the Bifrost Bridge again. If not, I'll just have to try and see if I can create a spatial portal myself using the new element..."

"In any case, Peter, I swear, I will bring Ryan back!"

After saying that, Tony looked at Peter with eyes full of both self-reproach and determination.

In Tony's view, he bore the primary responsibility for losing Loki, the 'key' to opening the Bifrost Bridge!

After all, if he hadn't impulsively used the untested energy from the new element reactor to force Loki to close the portal, Loki wouldn't have disappeared because of it!

Peter looked down and remained silent for a while before finally shaking his head: "No, this isn't entirely your fault. I couldn't help either. That was already the last resort, and Ryan himself told us to do it. Maybe he expected this..."

"But I need to make a few calls first. Uncle Ben and Aunt May must have seen the live stream. I need to calm them down first, then I'll go with you to find Thor. If that doesn't work, I'll help you research spatial portal technology!"

Hearing this, Tony patted Peter's shoulder and sighed: "Peter, you're different from your cousin Ryan. You're a truly good kid..."

As for Ryan... Pfft—

Atop a mountain of Frost Giant corpses, Ryan stood on the head of a Frost Beast. He pulled a giant blade out of the beast's head and pointed the tip toward the endless army of Frost Giants on the snowy plain ahead:

"Next round!"

At that moment, the Frost Giant army suddenly parted down the middle. Laufey, whose height had surged from five meters to over ten meters, stepped out. He also pointed an ice blade—several times larger than Ryan's entire body—attached to his arm at Ryan on the corpse mountain, shouting sternly:

"Human, you shouldn't have pursued us to Jotunheim, and you certainly shouldn't have dragged this out. Don't you know that the longer we Frost Giants stay in the cold lands, the stronger we become? As one with royal blood, my strength can grow exponentially!"

"Now that I've returned to Jotunheim, I have restored my full strength. Human, you're dead!"

Ryan looked at the giant-like Laufey, his face as calm as a deep well, his voice even colder than the snow of Jotunheim: "Oh? Your full strength? So, do you think this is my full strength?"

As he spoke, Ryan's form also began to change. First, his height surged from two meters to a full five meters, followed by changes in his appearance.

While the main body remained silver-gray, his forearms and lower legs transformed into dense purple scales, and the spider emblem on his chest turned gold!

Finally, Ryan's face changed from a normal spider mask with only two eyes to a biological hood that seemed truly alive. His eyes became crescent-shaped, his mouth filled with sharp fangs, and his entire face looked ferocious!

In this complete form, Ryan's power also surged exponentially!

Finally, Ryan spread his hands, and from the ends of his arms extended blades several meters long, wreathed in purple lightning. He roared at Laufey:

"Come, Laufey! Let me see if you, without the Casket of Ancient Winters, can give me any pressure in your prime while I am also in mine!!!
