Chapter 104 - Chapter 104: Leaving Jotunheim, The Unknown Land

Therefore, Ryan only needed to show a little tenderness towards Sylvie and stage a show of standing up for her in the Council, and it naturally made the simple-minded Sylvie fall hopelessly in love with him.

And now, in just one month, Sylvie had become completely subservient to Ryan, her affection even bordering on the pathological... Sylvie held Ryan's waist tightly, looking up with those red eyes staring straight at him: "King, don't leave, okay?"

Ryan's expression remained unchanged, but his eyes and tone softened:

"Sylvie, I promise you, I will definitely return. You now have the power to be above all but one. Here, I only trust you, so please watch over our palace for me, okay?"

Our palace... Hearing those words, Sylvie couldn't help but blush, her usually cold body becoming remarkably warm.

And Sylvie, with her blue skin showing a hint of red, truly had a unique charm!

Ryan couldn't resist picking up Sylvie and striding toward the palace's bedchamber.

Sylvie naturally knew what Ryan wanted to do. She closed her eyes, focused her mind, and her blue skin actually began to turn snow-white.

This was an ability of the second-generation Symbiote. Originating from Ryan's body, it naturally carried a portion of his genes. Thus, while it made Sylvie stronger, it also gave her the ability—like Loki—to mimic a 'human' skin tone.

But before Sylvie could fully complete the transformation with her still-unpracticed mimicry, Ryan interrupted her change, looking down at her with a grin: "No, don't change. What I want is a Frost Giant!"

A day later... Jotunheim, a certain sea area.

Atop an icy cliff, two figures wearing Symbiote suits—one silver-gray, one icy blue—were running across the cliff face as if it were level ground.

Patter—

After two landing sounds, Ryan and Sylvie landed on a reef at the foot of the cliff.

"This is it?"

Ryan looked at the seemingly normal ice wall in front of him and then at Sylvie beside him.

Sylvie nodded: "That's right. According to the clansmen who had contact with Loki before, the Space portal Loki mentioned is right here."

Saying that, Sylvie picked up a stone from the ground and flicked it with her finger. The stone flew toward the ice wall with a 'whoosh'.

But a magical scene occurred. The stone did not hit the ice wall; instead, it vanished after causing a ripple on its surface!

It was as if it had traveled to another space!

Sylvie continued to explain: "According to records, a long time ago, the Nine Realms were actually connected. Every Planet had numerous Space portals leading to other Worlds."

"However, these Space portals were sealed or destroyed thousands of years ago by the God-King Odin of Asgard for unknown reasons."

"But there are so many Space portals in the Nine Realms, like countless branches on a tree. No matter how you prune them, there will always be missed spots, and this is one of those missed Space portals."

"There were originally three Space portals here. The one in the middle leads to Asgard, and it was the one Loki revealed to Laufey last time. Laufey sent people through it to steal back the casket of ancient winters, but they failed. Afterward, the portal was destroyed by Odin and is no longer passable."

"The remaining two portals on the left and right lead to unknown places. Laufey had sent people in to investigate before, but none of them ever returned. So, Laufey eventually ordered a ban on entering them."

"King, have you really made up your mind to risk entering?"

Looking at Sylvie's worried gaze, Ryan reached out and gently caressed her face, smiling: "Don't worry, I'm not comparable to those fodder Laufey sent. I'll be fine..."

"Besides, do I look like a reckless person? Before I go in, I naturally need to check if the other side is safe..."

Saying that, Ryan raised both hands, and a silver-gray Symbiote tentacle shot out from each hand into the left and right Space portals.

After a moment, Ryan raised an eyebrow and retracted the probing tentacles.

The tentacle from his left hand looked as if it had been corroded by highly concentrated sulfuric acid; the tissue was festering and emitting green smoke!

Furthermore, even the Symbiote's self-healing ability could not completely repair the injuries from that corrosion, as if some unknown mysterious power was preventing the Symbiote's recovery... Ryan frowned and unhesitatingly severed the left tentacle, letting it turn into a pool of thick liquid on the ground.

"It seems the left side is a no-go..."

Immediately, Ryan looked at his right hand. The right tentacle was perfectly fine.

Moreover, Riot told Ryan that through the right tentacle, it saw spaceships navigating in that space beyond!

This meant Ryan could finally return to Earth!

And he would return by flying a spaceship!

As for where the spaceship would come from?

Ryan expressed that he was a veteran GTA player!

Finally, before leaving, Ryan looked at Sylvie, feeling a bit reluctant to part.

After all, Sylvie had accompanied him through the most boring month of his life, and the 'Avatar' look really did have a unique flavor... "Trust me, Sylvie. You were abandoned once, but there will never be a second time. It won't be long. Once I return to Earth, I will get the Tesseract that can lead to all parts of the Universe and come back for you."

"I believe you, my King..."

Under Sylvie's reluctant gaze, Ryan didn't hesitate anymore and stepped into the Space portal on the right.

Unlike the simple sensation of rising and falling like an elevator when he came to Jotunheim via the Bifrost Bridge last time.

Passing through this unknown Space portal was more like going through a tumble dryer. In a dizzying whirl, Ryan was spat out by the portal!

If it weren't for Ryan's good balance and quick reflexes, he probably would have been tossed into the 'trash heap' at the other end of the portal!

Even after landing steadily, Ryan's expression wasn't great as he looked at the piles of garbage surrounding him like small mountains:

"Riot, are you sure you're not messing with me? A Planet full of trash like this has spaceships?"

Hearing Ryan's unfriendly tone, Riot quickly poked its head out and explained in a panic:

"Master, I swear by the God of Symbiotes that what I said is absolutely true! I really didn't notice so much trash on the ground through the tentacle just now, but I truly saw spaceships in the sky. You have to believe me!"

Just as Riot finished explaining, a powerful air current came from above Ryan!

Ryan and Riot looked up at the same time. Whoa, wasn't that exactly the spaceship Riot was talking about?

But at this moment, Ryan's attention wasn't on the spaceship overhead, but on that massive 'Devil's Anus' in the sky!
