Chapter 31 - Chapter Thirty-One: Utopia

At the bottom of the "Cave of Shadows"... where dimensions, senses, and hope ceased to exist.

An abstract realm, a hollow void designed by Plato to serve as the eternal hell for all biological life.

"This is my Utopia."

Plato's hollow, distorted voice echoed from every vector within the pitch-black void.

"A perfect world, cleansed of pollution. Here, your pain becomes nothingness, and your existence becomes but a shadow. Surrender quietly to erasure, you insects."

Celine and Layla teetered on the absolute brink of unconsciousness under the crushing psychological weight of this terrifying domain.

But...

*Heh... hehehe...*

*Ahahahahahaha!!*

A feral, hysterical laugh tore through the walls of absolute silence. It echoed like the roar of an apex predator that had just located its prey in the heart of the abyss.

"I-Impossible!"

Plato shrieked. His aristocratic superiority evaporated, replaced instantly by pure terror.

"Your senses are inverted! Your visions are erased! The pain feedback in your brain registers as paralysis! How are you capable of laughing within my Utopia?!"

From within the dense, suffocating dark, two eyes flared with a bloody, crimson glow.

"Utopia? Visions?"

Roxy spat a glob of blood into the void and bared her fangs.

"I don't see any of your porcelain illusions, and this place reeks like a rotting trash can!"

Because her senses had inverted, and her brain could no longer logically process the phenomena around her, Roxy threw logic entirely out the window. Instinct! The Axiom of the Beast did not require eyes to locate prey; it only needed to smell the scent of fear.

*BAAAM!*

Roxy launched like a blind artillery shell into the dark. She slammed into Plato with a kinetic force that shook the entire illusory cave. Her right hand clamped like steel talons directly around his sword-bearing wrist.

"Got you, you piece of shit!!"

"Release me, you filthy savage!!"

Plato attempted to kick her violently, but Roxy absorbed the brutal impact to her abdomen without yielding a single inch. Instead, she intensified the crushing grip of her hand until the sickening crack of his porcelain armor echoed through the dark.

In that precise moment, courtesy of the sheer chaos Roxy unleashed, a warm, golden point of light flickered at the bottom of the abyss.

It was Celine.

Despite the fatal wounds tearing through her chest, the gentle healer clasped her hands tightly over her bleeding heart.

*I... will not let you... murder my family.*

**Resonance: Life Flow - Soul Link!**

Ethereal golden threads erupted from Celine's chest. They did not search for planetary roots in the soil; they searched for souls! The threads pierced the pitch-black void, physically and conceptually tethering to the hearts of Roxy, Layla, and Oria.

In a single second, Celine shared her agonizing pain, and she shared the warm glow of her life force.

The hallucinatory illusions of the cave instantly dissolved from their minds. Their senses snapped back to normal. The golden light Celine radiated banished the frost of despair, restoring Layla and Oria to full consciousness.

Layla opened her eyes slowly. A sadistic, dark, and terrifying smile returned to grace her lips.

"Oh... you made a catastrophic error by pulling me into a domain constructed entirely of 'shadows,' Sir Plato."

Layla raised her elegant fan. She pointed it directly at the philosopher, who was currently locked in Roxy's crushing grip.

**Paradox: Deception of the Flask!**

The very darkness Plato forged to bind them... rebelled against him!

The laws of the cave contradicted themselves. The shadows of his Utopia mutated into thousands of toothed, pitch-black hands. They lunged from every conceivable angle, violently coiling around Plato's legs, waist, and throat.

He was completely and utterly bound by his own shadows!

"What?! My domain... my Echo of the Ideal Forms isn't responding! What are you doing, you biological whore?!"

"I am simply rolling out the red carpet... for our hero."

Layla laughed delicately. She flattened her shadows, weaving them into a perfectly straight, gleaming path resembling black glass. It connected the space directly between Oria and the paralyzed Plato.

Oria stood at the genesis of the path.

The gentle girl, the Orion Princess who had always stood in the palace kitchen, supporting everyone with her smile and her devotion to the Emperor... her eyes now blazed with the unyielding resolve of an invincible warrior princess.

She slowly raised her right hand into the void...

And a blinding, emerald-green light flared from her fingertips. It shined like a lone star birthed in the core of this hell.

"Roxy... Layla... Celine..."

Oria whispered her family's names, dropping all formal titles.

"I am ending this."

Oria charged.

She was not exceptionally fast. She did not possess a superhuman physique. Yet, her footsteps carried the crushing weight of their collective will. She sprinted down the shadow path Layla had paved, while Celine's golden light enveloped her body, shielding her entirely from the cave's oppressive gravity.

Plato's optics dilated in absolute horror as he watched the emerald light closing the distance.

That light... it was Pure Anomaly...

The sole, absolute natural predator of everything the Echo and the Akasha represented!

"No! Stay back! Do not touch me, you mutation! NOOOOO!"

Plato shrieked, his voice devoid of every last atom of his aristocratic pride. He frantically attempted to generate any geometric barrier to save himself. Metallic cubes and hexagonal mirrors began to materialize in the air before him to block Oria's path.

But...

*CRASH!*

Roxy pulverized the first cube with a bloody headbutt!

*SHATTER!*

Layla shredded the hexagonal mirrors with her razor-sharp shadows!

"Nothing will obstruct you today, Oria!!"

Roxy and Layla roared in perfect unison.

Oria arrived.

She stood directly before the completely paralyzed, utterly broken Plato. She stared into his porcelain optics, now overflowing with terror, her gaze possessing a total, freezing apathy entirely unsuited for her gentle face.

"Utopia? No. Just scrap metal."

Oria raised her glowing hand and slammed it forcefully against his chest plate... directly over his mechanical heart.

**Pure Anomaly: The Emerald Purge!**

*FLAAAAAAASH!*

A colossal, terrifying emerald beam erupted from Oria's palm!

The beam punched cleanly through the dead center of Plato's chassis, drowning the dark cave in a blinding tsunami of green light that permanently eradicated the Akasha.

"AAAAAAAAAARGH!!"

Plato's final, agonizing shriek evaporated along with the power of his Echo. The terrifying domain—the Allegory of the Cave—was stripped from existence. The laws, the ideal forms, the calculated mathematical distances... all burned to nothing under the absolute weight of the Purge.

In that decisive microsecond, the exact instant he was stripped of all defenses, the combined power of the four Wives coalesced into a single, execution-style strike.

Roxy surged every last drop of Axiom remaining in her shredded musculature into her left fist.

Layla transfigured her black chains into razor-sharp blades that violently constricted around his chassis.

Celine pumped her final pulse of natural energy to accelerate the attack.

*KRA-THOOOOOOOOM!!!*

Roxy delivered a catastrophic punch that obliterated what remained of Plato's porcelain chest, while Layla's blades simultaneously shredded him from the inside out.

The body of the aristocratic philosopher, the entity so boundlessly proud of his perfection, detonated into millions of porcelain shards and rusted metallic fragments. They scattered into the air like a flurry of ugly snow.

Nothing of him remained.

The world snapped back to reality.

The ruined battlefield and the biting winds rematerialized, as if the cave had been nothing more than a fleeting nightmare.

Oria pitched forward.

The catastrophic cosmic toll exacted by the Purge completely drained her consciousness in a single second. She closed her eyes, her body plummeting toward the freezing metallic floor.

But before she struck the ground... two strong, blood-soaked arms caught her.

It was Roxy.

Roxy embraced Oria's unconscious body with a gentleness that entirely contradicted her savage nature. She flashed a wide, exhausted smile.

Beside her, Layla sat on the ground, panting heavily from sheer exhaustion, her shattered fan resting in her lap. Celine lay flat on her back, gazing up at the sky with a weak, angelic smile before peacefully slipping into unconsciousness.

Amidst the scattered debris of the arrogant philosopher, beneath the grim Orion sky, the four girls finally rested... victorious.
