Captain Morris moved towards the meeting room, he just came back a few hours ago from helping other squadrons quell rebellions or killing heretics in droves. It was both overwhelming and underwhelming, it was easier to kill heretics then quelling rebellions as they had to make sure not to kill the lower hivers or else they'll run out of workers. Well that's what thsoe nobles said.
—sigh—
May the Emperor give me strength for this.
He came to a stop at lift, put his hand on the pad and waited.
For two months, he and his squadron have been run ragged. From running supply runs, to securing key positions, to killing heretics, to almost being killed by heretics and having snobbish bastards commanding them to this, to do that. It almost made him wish he had also defected like other soldiers. He sometimes wonder if he should have taken 'his' offer.
Arthur, the leader of the Outcasts. Its been months since I have seen them yet I have heard of their exploits, whether it's their efforts of saving and recruiting survivors and defecting soldiers or guild worker and even scribes and clerks. They are often seen opposing the PDF, some rumors even say that they were sent by the Emperor's himself due the group's leader being so powerful and charismatic while others say that he's with the heretics and is the main cause of this situation. The options are divided between awe and fear.
Suffice to say they've done alot in a span of two months and this has gotten them the attention of the nobility and that's not good for anyone involved.
—Ding—
The lift arrived and Morris stepped in.
__☆__
"Captain Morris of the 6th squadron reporting in."
Morris got in the meeting room, saluted to his superior and sat down in his seat.
The meeting began. Everyone in this room was someone accomplished, whether it be the heads of administration, military commanders or squadron, guild leaders, etc. Everyone one was here reporting their progess and is waiting for orders for what's to happen next or their next goal.
"Now Captain Morris of squadron 6. State your report on your investigation on the individual known as Arthur."
And so he told them everything they needed to know, starting from Arthur's background, his parents background and how they met and the on going rumors about yet in all this he never said a thing about where Arthur is, his base of operation or how many people are under him. He didn't even talk about how stupid it is to try and antagonize someone that powerful.
They won't listen to him so why should he even try plus it would be better for him if they tried to do it and suffer the consequences.
Oh how, he would delight in the downfall caused by their actions.
"And that would be all."
The proxy of the nobility frowned. He didn't seem satisfied with the information Morris gathered.
"Is that really all you have on him and his group of misfits?"
"Affirmative. That is all I managed to gather."
Morris sat back down and watched as the proxy's face go through several expressions and finally settling on an ugly grimace.
They stayed there, listening to more reports of the situation and it was deteriorating faster then they thought and it won't be long till things spiral beyond their control. No, maybe everything has already gone out of control and they just think they can handle it.
Not long after, meeting ended and the proxy left in a hurry.
Morris also got up said his goodbyes and went back to his office, he still had reports to write and submit before he could fully rest.
Oh Arthur. May the Emperor bless because it seems like you caught the attention of some troublesome people.
And like that he got off his lift and went back to work. There is no rest for the wicked, more so for someone who serves the Emperor. For their duty only ends in death.

"This all you found!? This is basically nothing!!"
"Y–ye–yes mi'lord."
The proxy stuttered and wimperd in fear as he is being scolded by his superior. Working for nobility of any kind is not for the weak and that can be seen here.
"Useless! Useless!! Your just as fucking useless as those urchins I gave water to. They not only got their whole supply of water stolen, they also lost their weapon to a mutant, A Fucking Disgusting Mutaaannnttt!!!!"
The noble started hyperventilating, he was angry. No furious was the better word. It's seems like the whole world is against, first he was betrayed by the sorcerer who said they would get him out of here then the proxy he sent out to look for that sorcerer and that rogue psyker he heard being mentioned his siblings. Not only did the proxy fail to bring any significant results he now has to deal with news he got about the Water Cartels.
Everyone around him was fucking useless!
"Gaurds!!! Get this useless trash out of here and bring in someone to replace him!"
"No! Mi'lord please I can still be useful!! Don't throw me awa—"
The proxy got knocked out and dragged out of the luxurious room. Not long after someone else enter the room.
"You called mi'lord."
"Yes. From now on you'll be my new proxy and carry out my orders."
"I'm yours to command."
"Good. Now I want you to start spreading rumors about the powerful rogue psykers roaming in the lower hive and read the rest of the report and wait for me to give you my next orders."
"Yes mi'lord."
The new proxy took the stack of papers and went out of the room, though not before hearing the nobleman murmur.
"If I can't have that power under me then no one can."
He left and went to his assigned office. As soon as he got there, he put the stack of papers on the table and immediately took out his vox and transmitted an encrypted message towards someone. Next he went to the monitor in the room and dailed a specific number. The monitor changed and the holographic image of women appeared.
The man went down of his knees and reported everything he heard and what his new role is. He waited for the women to answer.
"I see. A rogue psyker and his banx of misfits. Hold the line and report to me if anything changes. I'll be arriving in a week's time."
"Affirmative inquisitor Zola."
The women— inquisitor Zola— ended the transmission and the man got up and went to work like nothing happened.
A few minutes into working he received a message back from his earlier transmission. The message was simple and clear.
'Keep an eye on my brother and if he let's down his guard even a bit then eliminate him.'
The message got deleted immediately after he had seen it.

"How dare they!? How dare they!? HoW DAre tHeY nOT AcCePt GraNdfAtHer's GIFT!?"
A maddened voice shouted out in a dark empty room, only illuminated by pulses of sickly green. The room from what could be seen from the brief flashed was covered in pulsing flesh mended into the walls. The room was filled with corpses, some being eaten by Nurgleling while other were being absorbed by the pulsing flesh.
"I need more sacrifices, more sacrifices to summon more of grandfather's children. More powerful ones, endless in number! They will be my hands and feet to spread grandfather Nurgle's gift to everyone."
"Hehehe... if they don't accept then I'll just feed them to you little ones. Feast on their souls and flesh and let them join our glorious family!!!"
The voice laughs with undesguised glee and then quickly switched up. He banged his hand against something.
"But that Damned psyker keeps messing up my plans!!!"
"hoW dArE HE!?"
The voice shouted, and then a glowing book appeared and their face was revealed, it was a man who wore clergyman clothing, that were ripped here and there. Puss was visibly dripping down their face and other body parts. He had extra mouths, one on his palm and the other on his right cheek.
"Hmmm. Yes. YES! This spell will do, it will do very well! Hahahahahaha!!!!"
"The paWnS of tHe fALse Emperor will die. DIe. DIE. DIE!!!"
"Hahahahhahha!!"
"HAHAHAhahahaHaAhaHahaha!!!"
__☆__
"EVERYTHING IS GOING ACCORDING TO PLAN."
A strong and majestic voice? rang out and echoed in the warp.
"ARTHUR. LETS SEE HOW FAR YOU WILL GO."
"WILL THE PRESSURE BREAK YOU OR—"
The voice stopped talking and looked far in another direction? Then a bright golden light suddenly filled that part of the warp, followed by a horrible shriek.
"Screeeech!!!!!"
"HMPH! NOW IS NOT YOUR TURN DECEIVER."
The voice said in a mild irritated tone, followed by a horrible cackle.
"KIKIKIKIKIKIKIKI!"
