Black Hollow was not on any map.
Arjun only found it because his bus broke down in the middle of nowhere. The driver refused to go further after sunset, muttering something about "the forest waking up."
The village stood beyond a line of dead trees—houses crooked, windows dark, as if no one dared to look outside.
An old man stopped Arjun at the entrance.
"Don't stay here after nightfall," he whispered. "Tonight is the full moon."
Arjun laughed nervously. "What's the worst that could happen?"
The old man didn't smile.
"People disappear."
