Chapter 13 - 13

My Sister Never Said She Was a Creepy Tale

It looked at Yue Yiyue with satisfaction, gazing at the marks belonging to It left on her body. It leaned over and carefully pressed against Yue Yiyue's delicate face, rubbing its scent onto her, like a stray puppy that had wandered for a long time finally finding its home.

Soon, another tentacle rushed over and severely whipped the little rascal who had overstepped. The two tentacles gestured for a moment before burrowing into the other side. Strange noises suddenly erupted from the bed, but strangely, no one reacted. It was as if some strange entity had isolated Yue Yiyue from everyone else.

A moment later, the two tentacles finally completed their task, contentedly leaving Yue Yiyue's embrace. They then somewhat disdainfully pushed Gu Nanqiu, who was in Yue Yiyue's arms, aside, separating them by a certain distance.

Before the tentacles could admire their handiwork, they saw the drowsy Gu Nanqiu roll over and hug Yue Yiyue tightly. Seeing this scene, the tip of the tentacle turned from pink to red in anger. Just as it was about to separate the two again, a strange whisper was heard… They reluctantly nuzzled Yue Yiyue one last time before vanishing.

In the darkness, Gu Nanqiu opened her eyes, looking vaguely at Yue Yiyue held in her arms. After a moment of hesitation, she carefully changed her posture, snuggling into Yue Yiyue's embrace, and let out a contented sigh. She seemed to have had a beautiful dream… In the dream, she appeared to have kissed Yue Yiyue.

A wisp of light pink crept up to her ear tips. Gu Nanqiu quietly looked up at Yue Yiyue, who respected her and accompanied her clumsily, never treating her as a subordinate. Gu Nanqiu immediately understood: she had finally waited for this, just as the divine guidance in her dream indicated…

The door to the teaching building was opened by something. The tentacle that seemed shy earlier when near Yue Yiyue was now unusually irritable. It dragged in a pitch-black object. The black object was curled up in a ball, trembling, but when it looked up and saw the person sitting in the center of the lecture platform, its eyes revealed a look of fanaticism. It crawled bit by bit toward the bed, only to be pulled back by a sturdy tentacle.

"Mmm, the plot has been messed up by some boring people. Remember to put everything back in order." After saying this, the black shadow was flung away. It was afraid that even a second slower would contaminate the clean, pleasant scent it had managed to acquire.

Having finished giving instructions, It walked to the window and overlooked the small school. The tentacle rubbed against It in a fawning manner, but It slapped it aside. The tentacle knew it had overstepped its bounds, but It was just a small tentacle, only able to follow the Master's most primitive wishes. It tilted its head slightly and then awkwardly formed a heart shape with its appendage.

The Woman took out a long, thin box from her clothes and pulled out a slender cigarette: "No, you look too ugly, and you're imitating her. She detests it."

Yue Yiyue scratched her chest, yawning lazily. After waking up today, she felt a strange sensation all over her body. She lowered her head to sniff; there was a familiar, indescribable woody fragrance that smelled pleasant and warm. This scent was too familiar, like something she had smelled often before. She rose like a lost soul and went to the balcony to brush her teeth. Standing in front of the mirror, she saw herself with a rosy complexion. This appearance didn't suggest a lack of sleep. Could it be that sleeping with Gu Nanqiu was making her unaccustomed to rest? That couldn't be right either. In the past, she lived in communal sleeping quarters, and every night, a different little sister would randomly end up in her arms.

"Yiyue, what's wrong?" Gu Nanqiu, having changed her clothes, saw Yue Yiyue staring at the mirror, lost in thought. "Did something happen last night?"

Yue Yiyue, with foam in her mouth, quickly spat it out and rinsed her mouth rapidly. "Nothing. I've experienced too much recently; my mind can't catch up right away."

"Did you have nightmares?" Gu Nanqiu asked with concern. After all, seeing such things might cause disgust.

"No." Yue Yiyue recalled the dreams of the last two nights; vaguely, it seemed she was living with a woman. "Maybe even though I'm timid, my ability to process this kind of thing is strong." Even now, recalling those scenes still felt disgusting, accompanied by a fear that she might be hung up next. Other than that, Yue Yiyue felt no strong emotions. Perhaps it was because she was sent to this place specifically to experience something. If someone stepped forward and told her she couldn't go back, that she couldn't return even if she died, then she would feel true fear. No matter what, she was just an observer, an observer who inexplicably entered this world. No system, only strange text messages.

"We're going to eat breakfast," Zhang Yang, who had everything ready, reminded them, looking at the two talking on the balcony. "By the way, does anyone have money left on their meal card? I only ate twice yesterday, and I'm almost out. Damn this broken place." "It's so annoying," as she spoke, she started cursing Zhao Heyi again.

Yue Yiyue glanced at Zhang Yang outside, leaned close to Gu Nanqiu's ear, and whispered: "Let them go first; I have something to discuss in a moment." The warm breath tickled Gu Nanqiu's earlobe, making her face instantly flush a light pink. Gu Nanqiu awkwardly took a step back and nodded. Seeing Gu Nanqiu's slightly flustered pace, Yue Yiyue let out a breath—it smelled like roses, quite nice. Did I overstep my boundary? Yue Yiyue made a mental note of this small detail; she needed to be more careful, as Gu Nanqiu's ears were quite sensitive.

Gu Nanqiu walked across the balcony to the dormitory door: "You guys go eat first. Yiyue and I will buy some buns later." "You can ask Classmate Fan about the meal card situation; I don't really understand it." Gu Nanqiu's gaze fell on Fan Ning, who was huddled to the side acting like a quail. "Can I trouble Classmate Fan to help Zhang Yang?" "Huh? Me?" Fan Ning pointed at herself in surprise, looking like she hadn't processed it yet. "Yes, you," Gu Nanqiu nodded firmly. She looked at Fan Ning sincerely: "Yes, I need your help."

Fan Ning was utterly flustered by Gu Nanqiu's words. She nodded cautiously: "Okay, I understand! I definitely won't disappoint your expectations of me." Saying that, she looked at the slightly surprised Zhang Yang and plucked up her courage: "Classmate Zhang Yang, I still have some balance on my meal card. Let's go eat breakfast together." Under Gu Nanqiu's encouraging gaze, she added: "I can tell you how to earn money for meal cards here; it's not much, but it's definitely enough to get by."
