As Vegito Black transformed into Super Saiyan Rosé, the overwhelming godly ki sent a cold sweat down Goku and Vegeta's brows.
"Hmph... such a perfect form, such magnificent power. I am the Absolute God, Zamasu!"
Ignoring Vegito Black's narcissism, Vegeta suddenly spoke up. "Hey, Kakarot. Leave the rest to me."
Goku blinked in surprise. "You're going to use that?"
Vegeta's lips curled into a smirk. "Naturally. With that power, I'm certain I can crush this guy!"
He glanced back at Goku. "Besides, you need to recover your stamina. As much as I hate to admit it, this guy's power is truly formidable."
Goku frowned but eventually nodded. "Alright... if you say so."
Vegito Black watched Goku drop back into his base form and looked down at them with haughty disdain. "What? Have you given up, Son Goku?"
His gaze shifted to the remaining Saiyan. "And you, Vegeta—do you intend to offer a futile resistance?"
"Hmph, don't look down on me! Right now, I'll show you the true power of the Great Vegeta!"
"HAAA!"
As Vegeta began powering up, a flash of silver light exploded like a miniature sun. The sheer intensity of the energy forced Vegito Black to take a serious expression.
Crackle!
As the blinding light faded, Vegeta's appearance had undergone a radical change.
The red hair of his previous form had turned silver and grown longer. His body was now covered in silver fur, and his pupils glowed a fierce red. His muscles were more pronounced than ever.
Under the pressure of his silver aura, the air itself seemed to fracture, generating violent arcs of electricity.
Vegeta had finally ascended to Super Saiyan 5!
"What... what is this transformation?" Trunks stammered, paralyzed by shock.
He never imagined that the version of his father from that timeline possessed such terrifying power. Faced with this staggering ki, Trunks found he didn't even have the courage to stand his ground.
"Hmph. I thought you might actually change, but it turns out you just went from a red-furred monkey to a silver-furred one," Vegito Black mocked. "You will still face divine judgment!"
Vegito Black threw his arms wide, his Rosé aura surging violently.
Vegeta didn't waste words. He transformed into a streak of silver lightning and lunged, throwing a heavy punch. Vegito Black met it with a fist of his own.
BOOM!
The collision of their fists sent a shockwave through the air. Space itself seemed to let out a mournful wail as cracks began to spiderweb out from the point of impact.
Crrrk! Snap!
The fabric of reality was failing to contain the sheer magnitude of their power. Yet, neither fighter cared. The battle only intensified.
Under the collateral force of their clash, the entire Earth began to tremble. It felt as though the planet would shatter at any moment.
Seeing this, Turles lightly tapped his foot. A surge of temporal power instantly wrapped around the Earth.
Battles at the God of Destruction level were not meant for mortal realms. There was a reason the multiverse forbade Gods of Destruction from fighting one another.
Indeed, by achieving Super Saiyan 5, Vegeta had stepped into the Seventh Level of the God Realm. Though he was only at the beginning of this stage, he had officially reached the level of a God of Destruction.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
"ATATATATATA!"
Vegeta let out a primal Saiyan Roar, unleashing a frantic barrage of attacks on Vegito Black.
The sky flashed incessantly with bursts of Rosé and silver light. Landscapes crumbled beneath them, mountains collapsing into dust that was instantly disintegrated by the pressure of their ki.
Turles continued to watch from the sidelines, enjoying the show. This was far more thrilling than watching it on a screen.
Suddenly, Turles felt a shift in the atmosphere. A moment later, Chronoa appeared beside him.
"Hey, Turles! What was so urgent that you had to call me?"
Turles sighed and gestured toward the horizon. "Shouldn't you look at your surroundings first?"
Chronoa blinked, her attention immediately drawn to the high-speed collision between Vegeta and Vegito Black.
"Huh? Vegito? No... wait, what's going on? That's definitely not the real Vegito."
She turned back to Turles. "Don't tell me you called me here for him? You could solve someone like that with a wave of your hand."
Turles ignored her dismissal and pointed toward Bulma's location. "Look over there."
Chronoa followed his gaze and saw Zamasu, acting as a living punching bag, constantly being wounded and regenerating.
"Is that... a Supreme Kai?"
Turles nodded. "Exactly. That is Zamasu, an apprentice Supreme Kai from Universe 10. He murdered his own master to steal the title for himself."
"He's the cause of the anomalies in this timeline. As for Vegito Black—that's also Zamasu. He used the Super Dragon Balls to swap bodies with Kakarot and Vegeta, then used a Time Ring to travel here to begin his 'Zero Mortals Plan.'"
Turles' voice turned cold. "Literally, he wants to wipe out all mortals. He believes that mortals aren't worthy of living in a world created by the gods."
Chronoa's face darkened instantly. The idea that someone was using the tools of the Time Realm to commit such atrocities was a direct insult to her authority.
After all, she was the one who issued the Time Rings.
"So, what you're saying is..."
"Exactly," Turles interrupted. "I don't think the Supreme Kais are fit to hold Time Rings anymore. It seems the gods are much better at causing trouble than the mortals are."
Chronoa nodded grimly. "Fine. I understand. We'll handle this exactly as you suggested."
At that moment, the tide of the battle shifted. Despite his power, Vegeta's stamina began to fail him—he had already exhausted himself significantly before the transformation.
Vegito Black caught a opening and buried a heavy fist into Vegeta's gut.
"Gah! Argh!"
The force of the blow left Vegeta dazed. Vegito Black didn't miss the opportunity, unleashing a flurry of punches and kicks that hit like a machine gun.
"AHHHHH!"
Vegeta cried out as he suffered thousands of blows per second. The sheer weight of each strike was immense, bringing back a long-forgotten sensation: the feeling of being utterly pummeled.
Vegito Black kicked Vegeta high into the air, then reappeared above him in an instant. Locking his hands together, he hammered Vegeta back toward the Earth.
CRASH!
A massive, human-shaped crater erupted in the ground.
Poor Vegeta. After only a brief moment in the spotlight, he had reverted to his role as "Jobber-ta," thoroughly dominated by the imposter.
"Cough... dammit!"
Vegeta lay in the pit, bruised, swollen, and bleeding. He couldn't wrap his head around how a mere fake could be this strong.
If the fake was this powerful... then how strong was the real Vegito?
