Chapter 10
At first, it felt strange.
The quiet.
Not the heavy silence I was used to…
but a different kind.
The kind that didn't press against my chest.
The kind that allowed me to think without fear.
I didn't trust it immediately.
I kept waiting for something to go wrong.
For the tension to return.
For the familiar weight to settle back in.
But it didn't.
And that scared me too.
Because when you've lived so long in chaos,
peace feels unfamiliar.
Almost undeserved.
I found myself questioning simple moments.
Why is no one shouting?
Why does this feel… calm?
I didn't know how to exist in it.
But slowly… I started to learn.
I learned that not every silence hides something bad.
That not every calm moment is temporary.
I learned how to sit with myself
without feeling like I was about to break.
And for the first time, Breathing didn't feel like something I had to force.
