Returning to the living room, Summer Thorne started unpacking her purchases and gave Ivan Gray a call, asking him to bring over some food.
Before long, Ivan Gray came up carrying several bags. When he saw Summer Thorne sitting in the living room examining some new trinkets she'd bought, he couldn't help but relax slightly. Still, he asked, "Where's Mr. York? Is he busy?"
At his words, Summer Thorne's hands paused. Her gaze drifted involuntarily toward the locked door. After a moment of silence, she responded softly, "I suppose so."
Ivan Gray took the groceries he'd brought into the kitchen before coming back out. He glanced toward the inner room and asked, "What's he working on? Is there anything I can do to help?"
